Just recently I entered one of my favorite grocery stores and noticed numerous large signs stating “ALL SALES FINAL”, “WIC COUPONS NOT ACCEPTED” and “CHECKS NOT ACCEPTED”. My assumption was that these sudden changes of policy had been implemented in response to dishonest customers taking advantage of the system to bilk the store. I was flabbergasted when told by the cashier that the store is closing in February. I had been shopping at this Haggens for years.
There are several reasons I enjoy shopping at Haggens: The employees are generally very friendly, there is an atmosphere of trust and they have always taken care of me when issues arose, they’ve got a great selection of candies, wines and bulk items and their staff and customers are almost entirely white and Asian. As for this last item, it is the main reason there is an atmosphere of trust. The notable absence of NAM’s makes shopping there a pleasant experience even if their prices are not always the best.
Just as in housing, it seems that many whites and Asians are willing to pay more in order to avoid places like Wal-Mart and WinCo. The latter are large, crowded, noisy and contain many white female/black male couples and trashy whites. In other words, the correlation between low I.Q. and low income is evident in such places. With the current economic downturn, upscale (I.E. white) shopping outlets have been under increasing strain as their customers have been forced to save money by shopping elsewhere. As one commenter on Yelp.com puts it:
…What a shame! The Haggen in Beaverton is a good store. High-end, independently [sic] stores are the most vulnerable during economic down times. Hope the day never comes where we’re all shopping for our food at Wal-Mart, Target, and WinCo.
Some, in the pro-white movement, have touted the recession as a good thing for whites. They point to lower immigration and fewer benefits for NAM’s already here. Unfortunately, it also forces poorer whites to associate more with NAM’s. For some whites this means more than just an unpleasant shopping experience. It means that they will be threatened, attacked and even lose their lives.
I work across the street from Walmart, and I’m not rich, but I can’t shop there. Almost every time I either parked my car there or walked across the street, I’d have an “incident.” I don’t mind paying a little extra in my own neighborhood, to avoid being seen as prey.
In SA its the same thing. It really does seems that everywhere we look segregation is the norm where people have a choice.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is NAM?

Vietnam?
Non aligned Movement?
Namibia?
In my blog one issue is the concernI am concerned about the freedom to discuss the race and IQ (and crime) issue. It took me a while to notice that the reason for the fanatic resistance to this issue of IQ difference is that then lots of policies need to be questioned.
Busing, racial integration, equal rights, apartheid etc.
And that is really scary and politically extremely far reaching.
Maybe you discuss some of these issues. Especially apartheid ……….
Of course, there could be non-racist alternatives. Separate people by IQ or criminality. But then one needs the IQ tatooed on the forehead.
What about Obama? He clearly is highly intelligent, well behaved and would not deserve to be discriminated against. That also fits the issue of mixed race or the one drop rule.
Also, I remember the girl from Brazil that was in Germany and said: hey, how can I know who the thieves and criminals are? Everyone is white?
What about white trash, hooligans, Russian mafia, etc?
NAM – Non Asian Minority
The term is used to distinguish between Asians and other minorities since Asians are considered to be a “model minority” ie good students, low crime, etc.
The general idea is that a recession will force the White population into looking critically at its future, I’m not sure if economics will make much of a difference in terms of racial awakening though although we can certainly hope.
off topic: I think this deserves your comment. It is disgusting how people attack soldiers with deadly weapons and then complain when they get shot.

Actually, I already commented on that a while ago. I can see both sides of the story but I cannot judge either side since I was not there.
The Haggan in Tualatin is where a lot of the Trailblazers shop, including the greatest draft bust in recent NBA history…Greg Odom.
I don’t know what your seeing, but tons of Asians shop at WinCo, CostCo as well. I worked with a lot of Vietnamese and they are major penny pinchers who would rather spend thrity minutes waiting in line in front of fat women who look like the sisters of the kid in Deliverance than pay 20 cents more for a head of lettuce at Fred Meyer or Safeway. I hated WinCo with a passion, not only does it take a half hour to get through checkout at 11pm just to buy a loaf of bread, (they don’t have any express lanes) for some reason the place is full of Mexican families with little children in tow at midnight.
