What would be the reaction in France?

I found this on alarabiya:

Ad depicting U.S. soldier and Muslim wife met with mixed reactions

soldier with muslim

Paul Crompton, Al Arabiya

An advertisement picturing a U.S. solider and a fully-veiled Muslim woman in an embrace has provoked mixed reactions on the internet.
The billboard promotes sleeping aid brand SnoreStop and aims to show how its medication can benefit couples by enabling them to have a tranquil, snore-free night’s sleep.
Muslims concerned that the ad promotes the message of a couple sleeping together outside of wedlock need not be worried – the ad shows the woman wearing a wedding ring…
Social media users responding to the ad’s twitter hashtag #betogether had mixed feelings about the billboard, with many praising its message of equality and diversity while retaining its shock value.
“What an amazing ad. I wish more companies represented couples like this,” wrote twitter user Hooverr1.
Another twitter user, @Shahkaal said that it was “great to see diversity in Ads” while @KarimiScreamy wrote that the ad was a “good sign of tolerance.”
However, some individuals felt that the ad was “bigot-baiting” and “ignorant.”
Facebook user Debbie Herrera wrote that she liked the ad’s “diversity but… I also think this is in poor taste… I would think this would be offensive to Muslim’s [sic].”
Twitter user @uncolonisedmind wrote that the ad’s usage of a niqabi (a women who wears a face-covering veil) was “ignorant and stereotypical.”

Muslims do not form a major power bloc in the Los Angeles area. At least they’re not powerful enough to demand that infidels stay away from their women, while they act with impunity toward non-Muslim women. But this is not the case in much of Western Europe. It seems to me that such a billboard, if erected in a place like France, for example, would elicit immediate negative reactions. It would be taken down within days.
Various reasons for the outrage would be given – but few would come out and state the real reason: Underdogs contribute the females, while overlords contribute the males. European Muslims feel entitled to native women because they are allowed to be the overlords while the native population is subjugated. A billboard such as this implies the opposite. As such, it would be considered offensive. In fact, it would probably even be illegal.

I wonder how many liberals would understand something so basic.

Should we expect an imminent surge in advertisements depicting burly, mustachioed day laborers with their arms around white Sabine women?

  3. Nationalist says:

They’ve tried sooo hard to make it controversial – muslim woman snuggled up to soldier (just back from killing muslims in Iraq or Afghanistan?) but actually they’ve have failed and probably unconsciously pandered to the ethno-nationalists (aka “racists”) in that the woman is pale skinned and much the same race as the man, and hugging rather than walking a respectful three paces behind.
Also, the wedding ring is a Christian symbol, not part of muslim marriage tradition so big fail there as well.

Snorestop paid money for that ? What fools, to be parted from their money so easily.

Doesn’t seem to bother all of those black De Blasio voters. But, then again, black men might be unique in this regard. I don’t think they really care if white men marry or have sex with “their” women.
I wonder what mestizo Hispanics think.

  6. It’s about miscegenation,White genocide by replacement, overwhelming ‘diversity’, class and race wars, and all the evils that ‘multiculturalism’ brings. It’s about destroying ethnic, racial, cultural, religious, and national heritage. It’s about destroying your family roots, history, and culture. That’s good enough for the corporate hucksters, political whores, and the ‘elites’ that don’t want opposition to the globalist agenda. ‘Egalitarianism’ is just another word for equality at the lowest level, where no one will be allowed to live free, have familial bonds, have roots, and have a safe place to live and prosper. We’re ALL slaves on the globalists’ plantation. The global economic crash can’t start soon enough. It may stop the madness of the globalists’ inhuman agenda.

What’s are your thoughts on what oogenhand advocates on this issue?

Oogenhand.WordPress.com after kievsky posted operation panzer love oogenhand says European men should turn the tables and persue Muslim women.

Ah yes. I remember him now. The guy who wants to destroy the Jewish people through love. Something Jews are already doing to ourselves. I have mixed feelings about this strategy toward Muslims. I’ll write about it later.

I think this is only true in “low-income” areas, and only because the elites dont care at all what happens to poor whites.

“are allowed to be the overlords”
In other words, the allowers would be entitled to Muslim women.
      “low-income”
Poor white men are more likely to be alpha, and could pursue the women of white liberals.
This also works in the reverse, i.e. promising enemy women pregnancies breaks the resistance.

Why doesn’t the soldier wear a beard?!

so, to my eye, that man could very likely be middle eastern/central asian and muslim. just because he’s not dark skinned doesn’t make him european. i don’t know if anyone has tried contacting the ad agency, likely not as it doesn’t serve the political agenda, but i suspect his ancestors aren’t from glasgow.

    • jewamongyou says:

I don’t think it matters where the guy’s ancestors were actually from. The implication is that he’s a non-Muslim married to a Muslim woman.

      • bob says:

that’s what i’m not understanding, where is that implication. there are muslims in the army. i guess i’m just not attuned to the subtleties of ethnic insinuation LOL. to me, it would make more sense for people to complain about muslims being represented in advertising. when i was growing up i didn’t even know italians where “white”. that guy looks like he could be a cousin of the boston marathon bombers 😉

  12. jewamongyou says:

    Re: Bob,
The whole point of the billboard was to be ethnically/religiously controversial. Even if the guy is actually Muslim, there are no obvious signs of it. Therefore, for all practical purposes, he’s not. What you’re saying is akin to objecting to claims of a lack of blacks in billboards by saying some of the “whites” might actually be octaroons who only appear to be white. Appearance is all that matters in billboards.
