Is Trump an anti Semite?

A member of my family sent me the following article, by Janis Ian:

I can’t believe people don’t see the parallels. No one thought the National Socialist German Workers Party would “allow” Hitler to do what he did. No one believed that kristallnacht would lead to Auschwitz. Everyone said “the party will stop him”, “the courts will stop him”, “there’s a process in place that will stop him”.
The Republican party’s active encouragement of “tea party” misbehavior, the party’s belief that they could “control” Trump, their turning a blind eye to his continuing egregious behavior, have landed us here.
Despite his disgusting, immoral, unethical, misogynistic behavior, despite his failure after failure as a business person, despite his refusal to give a hoot about the people working for and under him, Republicans like Ryan and Corker went ahead and supported him – first, in the hope that they’d keep their own jobs intact, and second because they made the spurious argument that “I don’t support him. I support the Republican Party.”
Well, what is the Republican Party, or for that matter the Democratic Party? It’s the people IN it. Not the flags, not the banners, not the party hats, but the people.
Now, Ryan finally says he’s had enough. John McCain says he’s finally had enough. Personally, I suspect the only reason most of the politicians deserting Trump are doing so is because their wives have finally had enough. Apparently nothing else mattered enough, or at least, nothing else mattered as much as their own political hides.
I’m no Hillary Clinton fan. If you’d told me a year ago that I would be supporting her, I’d have laughed in your face. But I refuse to vote for a third-party candidate who will do nothing more than deliberately split the vote, and throw this country to the dogs.
I’m not twelve years old any more. I don’t have to like my candidate. I just have to trust that they’ll do their job, behave in a rational manner, treat other world leaders – heck, treat everyone! – with respect, and provide a decent example for my granddaughters. I have to believe that at 3 in the morning, when they’re bored pushing buttons to tweet one last vindictive remark, they won’t push some other buttons and plunge us into a nuclear holocaust.

I have heard people say “I trust in the impeachment process” as an excuse to vote Trump into power, knowing he shouldn’t get within a mile of the White House. I have heard people say “Yeah, he scares me, but I support the Republican Party, and he’s my candidate.” I’ve even heard people say “He’ll put money in my pocket. He knows how to do that” and “He has a secret plan – that’s why he won’t reveal it, because the Democrats would steal it” about everything from health to economics. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. The only secret plan any of these people have is to stay in power. Period.
As to supporting a candidate because you support the party, well, welcome to the National Socialist German Workers Party, folks. A/k/a the Nazis.
Doesn’t anyone read history any more?
Shame on us. Shame on all of us, for standing by and letting this happen. Shame on every single person who doesn’t vote, shame on every single politician who would rather keep their seat than do what’s right, and shame on us for continuing to vote these people into office. Across the board, not Republican or Democrat. Across the board. Shame on us.

I’ll admit that back in the day, I thought Ian was super hot, but comparing Trump to Hitler? Give me a break! Not that this wasn’t predictable. Every time the Establishment Left doesn’t like somebody, they compare him to Hitler. It’s a tired cliché.

I don’t keep up much with the election; personally, I don’t really like either major candidate. But at least Trump isn’t as enthusiastic about eliminating white people as Clinton is, so I’ll vote for him.

I asked my family member to provide me some anti Semitic quotes that Trump has let escape from his (admittedly) loose lips, but she couldn’t provide me with any. So I did a quick search and found an article from It listed five “cringe-worthy” quotes from Trump:

1) Jews are Hagglers “I know why you’re not going to support me. You’re not going to support me because I don’t want your money …Look, I’m a negotiator like you folks, we’re negotiators.”

2) One of My Favorite Daughters is Jewish “I want to thank my Jewish daughter. I have a Jewish daughter…This wasn’t in the plan but I’m very glad it happened.”

3) How ‘Bout That Jon Leibowitz — I Mean Stewart “I promise you that I’m much smarter than Jonathan Leibowitz – I mean Jon Stewart @TheDailyShow. Who, by the way, is totally overrated.”

4) Debbie Wasserman Schultz is “Neurotic” (Read: Jewish Woman) “This is a woman that is a terrible person,” Trump said of Democratic
National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz after calling her “crazy” and a
“highly neurotic woman.”

5) Not That I’ve Actually Read Hitler… “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.… My friend Marty Davis from Paramount gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.”

None of those can be even remotely considered “anti Semitic” comments. Lame attempts at humor? Perhaps. References to old Jewish stereotypes? Perhaps. I’ve know many Jews, including myself, who are “guilty” of the exact same thing. Yes, Jews do joke about Jewish stereotypes. Yes, Jews do make jokes (sometimes bad ones) at the expense of other Jews.

As for #4, we’ve got to wonder if the term “anti Semitic” has any meaning if it can be applied to any person who says something negative about an individual who happens to be Jewish. That would make just about everybody anti Semitic.

Does reading Mein Kampf make somebody an anti Semite? Well… does reading Das Kapital make somebody a communist? Does reading the Qur’an make somebody a Muslim? How silly!

Until Trump proclaims his hatred of Jews, or calls for our extermination, we should refrain from calling him an anti Semite.

Why should you be surprised that the “racist/anti-semitic” carnard has been used against
Trump as it is ALWAYS used against anyone right of center, and can think for themselves?
It’s SOP to smear them with this epithit. They would do it to ANY Republican opponent
of a Democrat no matter who they are.
When you are accused of such things you are guilty until proven innocent. The burden of
proof is not on your accuser, it is on YOU to prove the negative that you are NOT a racist.
How do you do that? You can’t. You can PRETEND contrition and if you are a good actor
    they might believe it.
The two foremost forms of character assassination are race and sexual impropriety.
Trump has been accused of both. At least he’s got a billion dollar cushion. When Evita
Perrone assumes power on Jan. 20, he can pick up where he left off. He can star on
    “The Even Newer Apprentice.”

The first two paragraphs were enough, we’re dealing with a far-left crackpot.

  3. Stary Wylk says:

There are many things that went into my own decision to vote for Trump. The core is that he has the right opponents, the people who have been complicit for years in defrauding and attacking us.

I don’t expect him to accomplish everything I want, even were he to agree perfectly with me. He’ll be only one man among many others in government. He has, however, shown the elite what we voters want to vote for.

By the way, fuck McCain, who can’t fly a plane. If he hadn’t been a bad pilot, too stuck on himself to follow orders, he wouldn’t have been a prisoner of war.

Trump’s son-in-law is JEWISH. He is the GRANDSON OF SURVIVORS OF THE SHOAH!!!

Trump is a good and decent man. His family, ALL of his family, is absolutely beautiful — inside and out. Perfect? Of course not. Good and decent souls? ABSOLUTELY.

Stop the nauseating idiocy of those who slander and libel him as anything less than a MUCH NEEDED AUTHENTIC righteous best friend of Am Israel.

Is he perfect? OF COURSE NOT. No one is. But he’s real, and that quality in a Washington D.C. establishment bursting with frauds and fakers, is rare and PRECIOUS.

I am so very sorry to write this, but it must be said: if the ultra-leftist-establishment brain-washed so-called “secular” American Jewry can free their minds from the mental shtetl of fake-liberalism, maybe we still have a chance to save America from being ruled by a sociopath and her kleptocrat propaganda enablers.

For whatever it’s worth: I WAS an ultra-lefty brainwashed supporter as recently as 2008… but the Democractic Primaries election FRAUD, and the collusion of the DOJ, FBI, SD, and WH in enabling HRC’s crimes, plus her frightening Goebbels-like propaganda enablers in the establishment media and tech-plutocrats, have OPENED MY EYES.

The creeping fascism is real… it has ALREADY BEGUN… HRC is its queen, soon to be imposed upon an unwilling populace.

DJT cannot dismantle the whole corrupt rotting system, but maybe it’s a start.

    Shanah Tovah.

I have a problem with Trump supporting so-called “Affirmative Action.” He really should have come out against it. Also, he really does say some silly things – but so do I (in real life).

  5. Lon Spector says:

Janice Ian may have “Learned The Truth At Seventeen,” but she is a political moron.
    She’s just “Society’s Child.”

    • sestamibi says:

Damn it, Lon, you beat me to it! 🙂

Only other thing I would add is that BOTH candidates have daughters who married Jewish men. However, I have yet to see any claim that Chelsea converted or that her kids are going to be raised Jewish.

  6. Jagdflieger says:

If there is one thing we can be thankful to Trump for, win or lose, is that his candidacy has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that when it comes to corruption America is no better than any two-bit Third World country. The two major political parties, the business community the media, academia, etc… all are run by the same oligarchy and all will unite to destroy anyone or anything that threatens their lock on power. I would vote for Trump solely to give a middle finger to these cretins.

  7. Lon Spector says:

Yeah, but when the “lower class” white, Christian, male is genocided on the spot, and the
white woman is dragged off to sexual slavery no one will know what hit them.

  8. Mike says:

Neither trump or hilary talk about the fact the country is so far in debt it’ll nver recover.
They are both mugging the population with BS.

  9. sestamibi says:

Just to show the level of idiocy to which we’ve descended, about a week ago there was a post on the Forward website questioning the significance that there were 88 signers of a letter of support for Trump by former military officers. After all, 88 represents the eighth letter of the alphabet, and HH stands for “Heil Hitler”.

Well (and maybe I’m giving myself away here), but my initials happen to be HH as well. Does that make this member of The Tribe a closet Nazi as well?

    • jewamongyou says:

Even in their idiocy they’re idiots; the number 88 would be represented as “pe/het.” If you wanted to use two single digit numbers instead, you’d use “het/het.” This letter has no equivalent sound in English. If you wanted it to represent the h’s in “Heil Hitler,” you’d want to use the FIFTH letter of the alphabet: Heh. Two of those would be 55, not 88.

  10. RaceRealist says:

He loves Jews. His family will be Jewish in a few generations. Why would he be an anti-Semite when his daughter is a Jew?

    This says it all.

  12. Trump’s biggest donor is a Jew! Sheldon Adelson. No doubt he is a self hating Jewish anti-Semite! He claims to be a Zionist, but I’m sure he hates himself and wishes to harm his own people.

There is evidence that Trump may be prejudiced where Jews are concerned! He’s prejudiced in favor of Jews, according to some Jews!

Trump’s daughter converted to Orthodox Judaism and married a Jewish man. One of Trump’s sons married a Jewish woman. Trump says he is proud to have Jewish grandchildren. If anyone still thinks Donald Trump is Anti-Semitic I think they need professional help. This is extreme paranoia. When the media implies Donald Trump might be “racist” or anti-Semitic, they are either knowingly lying, or they are revealing a level of ignorance that boggles the mind.

Trump also has female black executives in his corporations, and he’s always supported affirmative action. When Trump talks about deporting Mexican illegal aliens, he says “and then the good ones can come back.” Does that sound like something a racist would come up with? At one point he was even saying he didn’t want to deport illegals, before flipping back again and giving a speech reaffirming his former position. White supremacist? Give me a break!

    • jewamongyou says:

He supports Affirmative Action. Therefore he is a racist. But he’s less of a racist than Clinton.

      • He does favor anti-white discrimination. Of course the lame-stream media doesn’t consider discrimination against whites to be a form of racism at all. In fact, if you don’t believe in collective inherited guilt for whites, or favor systematic discrimination against whites on the basis of race, you are deemed a racist. It is all part of the prevailing cognitive dissonance on race.

Netanyahu congratulates President Trump. Evidently, no one told him that Donald Trump is a vicious Jew-hater! He doesn’t seem worried that “Nazis” have seized power in the US.
