Until recently, this claim/fact was not widely known. However, I (apparently along with others) have been pointing this out in social media, and word has gotten out.
Now we see Tweets such as this one:
My prediction is that Google will soon remove the top result from this search. It’s November 27th, 2024. Let’s check in once in a while and see how long it stays up.
Are scientists doing further studies on African populations, to determine if 19% is truly the maximum? Will they be checking various other populations throughout Africa? Don’t count on it. It’s a road that leads to career ruin or worse. Few scientists will be willing to take that risk…
But maybe I’m wrong. If so, let me know in comments.
