Maternal deaths in Uganda and birthrates

A current Yahoo article bemoans the high rate of maternal fatalities in Uganda. The article, written by Amy Fallon, reads:

Kampala (AFP) – As she lay bleeding to death in Valente Inziku’s arms in a Ugandan government hospital in October 2010, Jennifer Anguko, pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, wished her husband well as a single parent.

“She said she’s going and I have struggled in vain, that no-one has helped her and everything is finished,” Inziku said, recalling the moment when his wife bled to death. “She told me to look after the children.”

Nearly four years later, her husband is still waiting for the government of Uganda — where an estimated 16 women die though childbirth-related complications every day — to face up to the gruesome reality of maternal health…
The 2012/13 State of Uganda Children report, released by the country’s health ministry in August, found Uganda’s maternal mortality ratio is at 438 per 100,000 live births — one of the highest rates in the world…

Sylvia Nalubowa was another pregnant woman who bled to death in August 2009 at Mityana District Hospital, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) outside the Ugandan capital Kampala, allegedly after corrupt medical staff wilfully neglected the mother of seven.

Rhoda Kukiriza, who was with her daughter-in-law until the end and accused health workers of leaving Nalubowa unattended after she refused to pay a bribe, is another petitioner in the landmark case.

It’s hard not to notice: A mother of four and a mother of seven. A glance at a comparative chart of national fertility rates shows that the top 12 most fertile countries are all found in sub-Saharan Africa. Uganda, with a rate of 47.38 per 1000, has hardly changed since the year 2000. It is number 2 on the list, second only to Niger.
According to healthline.com:

A woman who has had five or more previous pregnancies is more susceptible to abnormally quick labor and accompanying excessive blood loss during future labors.

So it should be no surprise that, in a country where the average woman has about six children, such complications will be more common. Add African corruption to this scenario (where poor women cannot afford to pay bribes for adequate care) and a high maternal death-rate is guaranteed.
Africans can get defensive when confronted about their high fertility rates. They often try to make it seem like an innocuous cultural phenomenon, which is a private matter of little concern to non-Africans. But It should be of concern to us because, as the rest of the world bickers over religion, pieces of land or politics, Africans are mass-producing babies – and this is how they will conquer the world.
When the entire world is like Uganda, will it really be a happier place?

Your argument seems all over place. However this part of the argument only makes it clear why white nationalists, supremacists etc really don’t have a clue:
“Africans can get defensive when confronted about their high fertility rates. They often try to make it seem like an innocuous cultural phenomenon, which is a private matter of little concern to non-Africans. But It should be of concern to us because, as the rest of the world bickers over religion, pieces of land or politics, Africans are mass-producing babies – and this is how they will conquer the world.”
    Seriously!?
    Let’s break this down:
“Africans can get defensive when confronted about their high fertility rates. They often try to make it seem like an innocuous cultural phenomenon, which is a private matter of little concern to non-Africans.”
That’s because it is of little concern! Rather than worrying about the sexual escapades of Africans, you should start concentrating on your own.
“But It should be of concern to us because, as the rest of the world bickers over religion, pieces of land or politics”
And Africans aren’t bickering over those subjects? Boko Haram of Nigeria, Al-Shabaab of Somalia, The Tuareg/Islamist conflict of Mali. Does that ring a bell?
“Africans are mass-producing babies – and this is how they will conquer the world.”
    Conquer the world!? Bwahahahahahahahaha!
I’d be more worried about the Chinese and Indians taking over. They’ve got bigger populations and better economies!

Africans’ very high birth rates of not of “little concern” to the Western world. It should be of primary concern. Because as Africa doubles its population with every generation so too do more and more pour in to Western countries. Not only are there far more Africans than ever – because they are being kept alive by un-naturally implanted Western medical practices at the same time as their own primitive culture demands many children – but as world transport and satellite tv/internet is, perhaps obviously, more accessible than ever before, they are hence lured to White nations in literally alarming numbers. And governments of these nations, Utterly Stupidly, make excuses for this and actually encourage it! So, to say that African birth rates is of little concern to the world shows a lack of understanding of real global issues.
Af for bickering Africans, yes they bicker over those subjects (religion, pieces of land or politics), but not in the same way other parts of the world do. African leaders are far more interested in lining their pockets, at the same time as getting hung up on past racism and blaming all their ills on that! This hypocrisy would be funny if it didn’t have such serious consequences.
As for Chinese and Indians, well I’d root for them before Africans as at least they are more or less as intelligent as whites (though lower caste Indians this is debatable). Although they do lacks whites’ cultural innovation and genuine artistic creativity and genius. I just hope east asia won’t screw itself up in the future like White nations are currently doing.

  2. Good point Jay, I have read that Japan and South Korea are also facing a demographic crisis similar to that of the West. Let’s not forget China’s “one child” policy either, how could that not lead to demographic crisis? Not only are European nations in trouble, but so are all of the high IQ East Asian nations!

One major problem with China is that their “one child” policy leads to female infanticide (selective abortion). That means way too many Asian guys and not enough women. I predict that after 2020, there will be several Asian men who never marry and barely have sexual relationships (if ever). They also aren’t too popular among interracial daters.
By contrast, while the marriage rates of African women are poor, (especially African-American) they are still alive and can try their hardest to have kids even if out of wedlock. Condom distribution and several Planned Parenthood buildings in Africa is one solution, I guess.

      • Despite what nearly everyone claims, condom distribution ultimately has had the effect of encouraging more casual sex, which ultimately facilitates the spread of STDs faster. This should be noted since condoms are constantly being pushed as a cure-all. I recommend this documentary, it deals in part with the subject.

I am strongly against Planned Parenthood. The abortion holocaust has decimated whites, as well as north east asians. Margaret Sanger woud be disgusted if she knew what her organization is doing today. She actually claimed to oppose abortion, and embraced race realism. Planned Parenthood has a record of encouraging casual sex, even among children and teenagers. It is also the largest abortion provider in the US. It is a crime that such an organization is allowed to exist at all.

  3. Africa has one Billion now, 2 Billion in 2050, 3-4 Billion in 2100. How much in 1900? As they can not feed their 1 Billion now, they will have to send their surplus 3 Billion by 2100 all to the European Union, as immigrants.

  4. Fens says:

African birthrates will be a huge problem if there are too many males.
