Virtue Signalling by Defending Neo-Nazis

Back in 1978, the ACLU defended neo-Nazis’ right to march in Skokie, Illinois. They still boast about it today:

In 1978, the ACLU took a controversial stand for free speech by defending a neo-Nazi group that wanted to march through the Chicago suburb of Skokie , where many Holocaust survivors lived. The notoriety of the case caused some ACLU members to resign, but to many others the case has come to represent the ACLU’s unwavering commitment to principle.

No, it’s not “principle” that motivates anti-white organizations, such as the ACLU, to defend neo-Nazis. It’s a political move. By taking up the case of unsavory pro-whites, organizations such as the ACLU can claim that they actually defend free speech and freedom of assembly. “See, we even defended some neo-Nazis 40 years ago!” Prominently displayed above the Skokie story, is the ACLU’s donation portal. Defending our liberties can be lucrative business.

The Skokie case was not the only time the ACLU defended pro-white causes. From the Chicago Tribune:

When white supremacists wanted to hold a “Unite the Right” rally at the site of a Robert E. Lee monument in Charlottesville, the Virginia city insisted they gather in a different park. So the neo-Nazis got help from an organization widely vilified on the far right: the American Civil Liberties Union. It sued the city, and a federal judge ruled in its favor. The hateful assembly occurred where it was originally planned.

We all know what happened next. Fighting broke out between protesters and counter-protesters, and a woman was killed after being run over by a car driven by an alleged white nationalist.

The backlash against the ACLU was immediate. Waldo Jaquith resigned from the board of directors of the organization’s Virginia chapter, declaring: “What’s legal and what’s right are sometimes different. I won’t be a fig leaf for Nazis.” K-Sue Park, a fellow at the UCLA School of Law who has done volunteer work for the ACLU, wrote in The New York Times, “By insisting on a narrow reading of the First Amendment, the organization provides free legal support to hate-based causes.”

I don’t believe that the ACLU leadership is stupid; it must have known that the Unite the Right rally would be publicly perceived as a gathering of neo-Nazis, skin-heads and white-supremacists. The Chicago Tribune article concludes by stating:

Thanks to the Constitution, the white supremacists who showed up in Charlottesville and Boston had their say. But in doing so, they only stimulated a national debate that they are bound to lose.

Of course, there was no “national debate,” only “lawfare,” suppression of free speech and outright lies from the Establishment Left. You can read about it here and here.

My point in bringing all this up is to point out that it serves the powers-that-be to sometimes give the illusion that the rights of pro-whites matter to them – but this only makes sense to them when the pro-whites in question do not present a threat to the Official Narrative. Neo-Nazis are never going to sway large swaths of the American public to their point of view, and neither are those who publicly chant “Jews will not replace us.”

A friend of mine was once approached by a member of the corporate media. The reporter wanted to know if he was interested in an interview where he could explain his pro-white views… but when the reporter discovered that my friend has all his teeth, and does not sport any tattoos, the interview was off. Showing a well-groomed, normal-looking man, to represent pro-whites simply would not do.

Similarly, when the 2011 American Renaissance, scheduled to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, was shut down, and our First Amendment rights violated, the ACLU was nowhere to be seen. Unlike the neo-Nazis, American Renaissance actually represents a THREAT to the Official Narrative.

Why am I writing all this now? It’s because I’ve been one of the administrators of the Quora space “It’s Okay to be White” since its inception. We’re now closing in on 15,000 followers, and we’ve been around for the better part of a year – this despite the fact that we endure multiple malicious reports against us daily. As you might imagine, we attract a motley crowd that includes conservative-type Republicans, Christians, sympathetic non-whites – and neo-Nazis. We do our best to moderate effectively, so as to remain within the bounds of what Quora considers acceptable. Of course, we’re not perfect, so non-compliant comments slip through now and then.

Normally, a space of our size could earn money – but Quora quashed any such option with the explanation that we “promote our product too aggressively.” Of course, we HAVE no product, so this is just a random excuse that a bureaucrat pulled out of his derriere. He was told to deny advertising funding for our space, but we had broken none of the stated rules, so he just came up with a random one. Requests for clarification remain unanswered.

Be that as it may, our space has so far survived, and it thrives. Visit if you have some time, and make sure you read the rules and FAQ before posting anything. Why are we still around? Well…

My hypothesis is that the higher-ups are so convinced that the very term “It’s Okay to be White” is universally held to be toxic that we pose no threat; instead, they’re using us for virtue signalling, much as the SPLC used the neo-Nazis. Quora’s administrators do not consider It’s Okay to be White to be a threat, because (in their eyes) the name implies that we’re extremists, and few will take us seriously. They might as well take advantage of the situation, so that they can claim that they’re open-minded and tolerant.

One of the most common retorts I’ve seen on our space is the claim that “whites don’t suffer from discrimination.” That systemic anti-white racism doesn’t exist.

Therefore, I created a couple of secondary spaces: Anti-White Discrimination; First-Person Accounts and (more recently) Government and Corporate Discrimination Against Whites.

This morning I received the following notice from Quora moderation:

Your Space Government and Corporate Anti-White Discrimination has been deleted as it was found to be in violation of our Quora Brand/Logo policy. To learn more about our Spaces policy, click here. If you think this is an error, you can appeal here.

I have no idea what they mean by “Brand/Logo policy,” but I did appeal. We’ll see what happens, but I’m not hopeful; these spaces are powerful, and they do present a challenge to the Official Narrative. While the Personal Accounts space is still up, I’ve backed up the material. Alas, it never occurred to me to do the same with the Government and Corporate space, since I was so scrupulous in following all the rules. How naive of me.

Edit: The space has been restored, and Quora moderation has apologized for the error.

The BBC Sanitizes Arab Anti-Semitism

After three Arabs stopped a bus carrying Jewish children in London, and proceeded to hurl insults and abuse at the occupants, this is how the BBC reported it:

Footage shows men spitting at the bus and apparently abusing passengers. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has described the video as “disturbing”.

Det Insp Kevin Eade said police were treating the incident as a hate crime.

In the video, which was posted on social media, a man seems to make a Nazi salute and others wave their shoes – an insult in some countries.

“An insult in some countries.” It’s an insult in ARAB countries, and this obfuscation is a good example of dishonest journalism.

Det Insp Eade said: “This was a deeply upsetting incident for a community group who were celebrating the Jewish festival, Hanukkah…

A slur about Muslims can also be heard from inside the bus. The Met Police has said the incident will be looked at “in its entirety”.

Tamara Cohen, who was on the bus, said she did not hear anyone saying anything provocative to the group of men gathered outside the vehicle.

A note at the end of the article states:

Correction 3rd December: During the editing process a line was added to this article reporting that racial slurs about Muslims could be heard inside the bus. This line has been amended to make clear that “a slur about Muslims” could be heard.

This correction was only made after the bus occupants insisted that no such slurs were uttered.

I’d like to know why the perpetrators’ faces were blurred out in the video. They’re not blurred out in the still photo at the beginning of the article. For less censored version of the video, click here.

In any event, what we have here is the UK government flooding the country with third-world savages, and then its official mouthpiece, the BBC, covering up for the crimes of said savages. Diversity and media bias go hand in hand.

London’s Muslim Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has condemned the incident.

New York City Small Business Services: Whites Need Not Apply

In a recently published PDF, the government of New York spells out the myriad ways it’s excluding whites from its programs. The smiling mugs of the deputy mayor, and the city commissioner, both black, are shown just under that of the mayor, and they make it abundantly clear that “equity” is just another word for “white-exclusion.”

The deputy mayor, J. Phillip Thompson, writes:

Through the Department of Small Business Services, the City has continued to provide resources, including access to financing, business education, pro bono consulting services, and mentorship, to businesses in low- and moderate-income communities and to businesses owned by minorities, women, and immigrants…

The commissioner, Jonnel C. Doris, writes:

To promote equitable economic growth, we expanded programming through our Black Entrepreneurs NYC (BE NYC) initiative, we launched the City’s first Asian American Small Business Taskforce to support Chinatown and Asian owned businesses across the City, and we worked with the Latin American Consulates through the #LatinxNYCSiPodemos coalition to provide business workshops in Spanish, reaching more than 40,000 business owners and leaders. And our Women Entrepreneurs NYC (WE NYC) initiative achieved a critical milestone serving more than 17,000 women

The document goes on to elaborate on the many ways it uses taxpayer dollars to exclude whites:

Under “Pillars of the Small Business Recovery Plan,” the very first pillar is:

promoting equitable economic growth and supporting diverse businesses of the future

“Diverse” as in “non-white.” This becomes increasingly clear, as the document boasts about its various expenditures – and leading the list, by far, is: $1.2 BILLION in COVID-19 contracts awarded to M/WBEs (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise). Taking second place is “funding opportunities for 10,000 small businesses at $623 million. Many of those small business are also minority owned. Perhaps even most of them.

Without a hint of shame, and highlighted in blue and bold print, the document boasts:

Since March 2020, SBS has delivered 337,000+ services for diverse New Yorkers:

92% of individuals receiving career assistance identify as non-white

53% of individuals receiving career assistance identify as Black or African-American

91% of business owners awarded a grant to reduce their debt burden are non-white

76% of businesses receiving a storefront loan via SBS are minority-owned.

Note that “Black” is capitalized, while “white” is not.

Under the heading “Promoting equitable economic growth and supporting diverse businesses of the future, we find the following:

The City of New York is promoting non-white suppliers of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well:

Under the heading “Promoting equitable economic growth and supporting diverse businesses of the future” we read:

Issued a blueprint for Black Entrepreneurs NYC (BE NYC)
In August 2020, we issued Advancing Black Entrepreneurship in NYC – a blueprint for advancing Black entrepreneurship in all five boroughs. Informed by more than 1,500 current and aspiring Black entrepreneurs, business leaders, community leaders and advocates, the report highlighted the challenges Black entrepreneurs face when starting and growing their businesses and offers recommendations in four key areas:


• Provide equitable access to financing
• Strengthen connections within NYC’s Black entrepreneurial community
• Scale Black businesses for long-term success
• Meet the challenges of the economy of tomorrow


We also announced commitments by our inaugural partners to invest with us in solutions in these areas, including: Mastercard, EY, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. nyc.gov/benyc

The next two pages are entirely dedicated to the promotion of black businesses, and I won’t quote all of it here; this post would be too long.

An ubiquitous term in this document is “New Normal,” as if this focus on non-white businesses is something new. Something revolutionary that we’ve never seen before. In reality, this is business as usual; I’ve been writing about it for a decade, as have many others. It’s been going on for longer than many of my readers have been alive.

This PDF is rich in graphics, and I counted about 158 individuals featured, including those in group shots that were recognizable, and not counting incidental people in the background. Of those 158 people, only 7 are clearly white. Most are black.

For reference, New York City is 43% white, 24% black, and about 30% Asian or other. White New Yorkers are 43% of the city in real life – but only just over 4% in this government publication.

What does this mean, and how are we to interpret all this? As far as I’m concerned, it means that the government of New York City has nothing but disdain for its white population, and that if it had the ability to do so, it would reduce the white population of the city by 90%.

Currently, the government lacks such power, but it DOES have the power to funnel billions of tax dollars, generated mostly by its white citizens, into the hands of black organizations. Since whites still comprise 43% of the city, and they continue to vote in the same politicians, we can only conclude that they don’t have a problem with this scenario. The whites of New York City are content being treated like livestock, milked for their tax dollars, but otherwise of no value – except as punching bags for the occasional knock-out game.

Honor the Duwamish Tribe: Honor the White Tribe

When it comes to indigenous rights, it’s easy to get bipartisan support. People of all political stripes like to support beleaguered tribes, as long as such support doesn’t come at too high a price.

A Change.org petition calls on the Federal Government to recognize the Duwamish tribe, which is native to the Seattle area. The city is, in fact, named after a (half) Duwamish chief, Chief Si’ahl, or Seattle. I won’t be upset with you if you sign that petition.

If you’re interested, here’s a more comprehensive history of the Duwamish, Erik Painter’s answer specifically.

The Duwamish tribe’s official website is sparse on photos of actual Duwamish tribal members, but the two who are depicted appear white.

If you look closely, there’s one guy who looks a little tanned. Other than that, the gathering is as white as the Forbes Real Estate Council. It’s as white as Elizabeth Warren.

It doesn’t appear that there are any pure-blooded Duwamish Indians remaining; taking a wild guess, I’d say that the average Duwamish is one quarter to one eighth Indian, with some older members being one half. Feel free to correct me if you know otherwise.

Far be it from me to blame the actual Duwamish people for this situation; they were subject to various forms of persecution and genocide. I have the utmost respect for actual American Indians who fight to preserve their culture and genetic legacy. Unfortunately, it appears that it’s too late for the Duwamish, at least when it comes to their genetic legacy.

Basically, what we have is a bunch of white people clamoring for recognition as a “tribe.” I think this is great! I’ve never been a huge believer in racial purity anyway, and if a drop of Indian blood is what it takes to allow whites to organize as a recognized tribe/ethnicity, then so be it. The fact that they get together to dress in Indian garb, perform Indian dances and music, and create Indian art doesn’t bother me; it’s harmless, and no different than white people getting together to enjoy sushi or yoga.

In today’s political climate, white people are practically prohibited from gathering as white people. While there’s no law against it (yet), you’ll lose your job, your safety and any political aspirations you might have had, if you’re identified as a proud white person. Identifying as “Indian” might serve as a loophole for some of us.

Choose Your Poison

I just received a notification from Change.org of a new petition. Here’s the first paragraph of the email:

Phoebe Gooding is a BIPOC female farmer in North Carolina. She was recently nominated to the Durham County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors. What happened next has not happened in 40 years. The state commission superseded her nomination and appointed Mr. Ken Browning, an older, white, male farmer. Join Phoebe in demanding the commission approve her position on the board so she may serve the people of Durham County with equity and justice.

From the email, it appears that Phoebe’s primary qualifications for the job are that she’s a) female and b) not a white person – and the state commission had the audacity to appoint a (gasp!) old WHITE MAN for the position instead.

The email continues with an appeal from Phoebe herself:

Members of the board enthusiastically voted for me because of my background in conservation and environmental justice, my board experience, and because of the perspective and insights I can offer firsthand as a BIPOC female small farmer.

It seems she considers the fact that she’s female and not a white person to be important qualifications as well. She goes on:

After receiving the nomination, I spoke with a colleague of mine with deep experience in Durham food systems. He congratulated me and said that, historically, conservation funding and resources have mostly been transferred to white, wealthy landowners in the county. My appointment to the board comes with voting power to ensure that resources are more equitably distributed among county residents including those who have historically faced higher barriers to accessing land and opportunities.  

In other words, her intention is to make sure that her fellow not-white-people get more of the gibs. As to WHY resources have, in the past, been mostly transferred to white, wealthy landowners in the county, we’re not told. I’ll venture a guess: Most of the farmers in that area are white and wealthy. As farmers, they’re also landowners. Yes, that would explain it.

Miss Gooding claims that she meets “8 of the 11 principles outlined in the Guiding Principles for Nomination of Supervisor for Appointment or Reappointment document provided by the NCSWC.” It’s not clear which of the principles she meets, but the very first principle is:

Because agriculture is North Carolina’s number one industry and because of the importance of soil and water  conservation to production agriculture, the Commission strongly recommends that at least two members of each  district board be actively engaged in, or recently retired from, an agriculture operation. Examples of an “agriculture  operation” include those operations that are eligible to participate in the Agricultural Cost Share Program, or fall  within the definition of “Agriculture,” as provided in N.C.G.S. § 106-581.1. If the board does not already have two or more members that meet this criterion, will this appointment satisfy this Commission recommendation? 

In an article from WRAL, we learn a bit more:

In a statement to WRAL Investigates, John Langdon, chairman of the state commission, said race and gender played no factor in filling the position on the Durham County board.

“My concern was the individual’s employment as Program and Organizing Director with Toxic Free NC, which I view as an organization that is in opposition to production agriculture,” Langdon said in the statement.

Indeed, Toxic Free NC’s website states that:

We advocate for corporate and legislative policies that advance a precautionary approach to chemical regulation to protect community health and biodiversity from pollution. Our policy strategy builds community power to advance environmental justice and hold polluters accountable.

Full disclosure: I don’t live in North Carolina, I’m not a farmer, nor to I have expertise in the matter at hand – but what this looks like, to me, is that some local farmers see Miss Gooding, and her organization, as a threat to their livelihood. They probably depend heavily on pesticides, and they might even be polluters.

It looks like Miss Gooding, and her supporters, are more concerned about race and gender than protecting the environment (at least in the petition), and it seems possible that the state commission is more concerned about profit than protecting the environment.

I’m all for protecting the environment, and reducing the amount of pesticides that is released into the soil and water – and especially into our bodies. But Miss Gooding has sabotaged any sympathy I might have for her by focusing on her gender and race. Instead of focusing on the actual issues, she (and her supporters) have chosen to fling charges of racism at their opponents.

Two Major Real Estate Search Engines Nix Crime Data in Racial Equity Push

Realtor.com has removed crime data from its website, and Redfin has decided not to add it out of concerns that it could perpetuate racial inequity.

David Doctorow, the CEO of Realtor.com, said in a company update this week that the crime map layer has been removed from all search results on the website “to rethink the safety information we share on Realtor.com and how we can best integrate it as part of a consumer’s home search experience.”

Doctorow said the removal was part of a company effort to “level the playing field” and scrutinize what safety means to buyers and renters so that it can “reimagine how we integrate safety data” on the platform. Realtor.com has been collaborating with fair housing advocates as part of the initiative…

“As a relative newcomer to the real estate industry, I’ve been struck by how entrenched this problem is,” he continued. “Stories abound about Black, Hispanic and Asian homebuyers receiving unequal treatment, starting with their ability to see whatever homes they like, and continuing through to the appraisal and mortgage processes.”…

Redfin highlighted the difference between crime and safety and said that through its research, which included surveys, people defined safety in a variety of ways. Taubman said that the available data, namely the Uniform Crime Report from the FBI, pertains to reported crimes and excludes information about crimes that go unreported and crimes that go unsolved. He said that data at a neighborhood level could lead to high inaccuracy.

“The fact that most crimes are missing creates a real possibility that the crimes that show up in the data set skew one way or another,” Taubman wrote. “And the fact that most reported crimes go unsolved means that some of the crimes being reported in fact may not be crimes.”

In addition to the FBI’s metrics, Redfin also considered the National Crime Victimization Survey, which relies on interviews from tens of thousands of people annually and queries them about the frequency, characteristics, and consequences of criminal victimization across the country. Those who say they are victims of crime are also asked whether the crime was reported to law enforcement…

“And there are troubling signs of this: in the 2019 survey, people reporting crimes were more likely to describe their offender as young, male, and Black than would be expected given the representation of those groups in the population,” he said.

There are several glaring flaws in these decisions and their explanations.

Firstly, corporate jargon such as reimagine how we integrate safety data is not helpful, and it gives the distinct impression that the goal is not to inform, but to confuse and obfuscate – that the real intention is less wholesome than the author is letting on.

Also, the article fails to explain how withholding crime data would help non-white home-buyers see more homes and buy them – unless the goal is to deceive them into buying homes in high-crime areas. Since when is less information empowering?

The argument that FBI crime statistics are inaccurate, because they don’t include unsolved or unreported crime is ridiculous. It’s specifically black areas that have the lowest reporting and clearance rates, and this is well-known. Blacks have much lower levels of trust in the police, and yet this article implies that those same blacks report crime at a higher rate than whites; it’s arguing that there is actually MORE crime among whites, but that those crimes go unreported, in contrast to crime among blacks, where crime is reported more often. Exactly the OPPOSITE is true. Crime rates are higher in black communities than the statistics would suggest.

The last quoted statement takes the cake for absurdity. These companies are concerned about racial bias – because crime victims are more likely to describe their offender as young, male and black. Do they honestly believe that crime victims are in the habit of lying about the description of criminals? Sure, it happens on occasion, when it’s an imaginary crime – but certainly not to the extent that it would impact statistics.

Let’s take a look at Mr. David Doctorow, CEO of Realtor.com. His Twitter profile tells us that he lives in Santa Clara, California. From Wikipedia, we can see the following:

The ethnic makeup of Santa Clara was 52,359 (45.0%) White, 3,154 (2.7%) African American, 579 (0.5%) Native American, 43,889 (37.7%) Asian

Hmm… Mr. Doctorow lives in a city that’s only 2.7% black. How convenient for him, and I’m sure the crime-rate in his area is quite low…

But wait, there’s more. It turns out that Mr. Doctorow is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council:

Hmmm… If we count hot blondes as “Diversity” then they’ve met their quota. Otherwise, it’s “Diversity for thee but not for me.” Doctorow is in the upper right corner.

I’m pretty sure that David Doctorow is Jewish, and it doesn’t take a skilled sleuth to figure this out. So on top of putting homeowners in danger, by withholding vital information from them, Mr. Doctorow is also contributing to anti-Semitism. Stormfronters will be on this like flies on a warm cow pie.

As for Redfin’s Chief Growth Officer, Christian Taubman (who appears to be responsible for Redfin’s withholding of crime data), I pretty sure that he’s not Jewish.

It’s great to see Jews and non-Jews working together to make the world a more dangerous place.

Blount County Sheriff Mark Moon said 22-year-old Deandre Charleston has been named as the suspect in the case. Sheriff Moon said he worked for a company that is contracted by FedEx, and has been terminated, but is now working for another delivery service. He is expected to be arrested after his route on Friday.

Sheriff Moon said Charleston dumped packages into a ravine in the 700 block of River Oak Trail on five separate occasions. Property owners actually found the packages as they were showing the home to potential buyers.

Moon said 153 packages worth more than $15,000 were able to be recovered. 247 packages worth more than $24,000 were unrecognizable, or unable to be delivered.

This is not the sort of crime that necessarily screams, “A BLACK man did it!” Lazy, unprincipled people exist in all demographics. However, when Diversity becomes a “value,” then it must come at the expense of other values – values such as hiring the right people for the job, people with good work ethics, of strong moral character and who are responsible.

Fedex is keen on using only Diverse subcontractors. On its “Supplier Diversity” page, Fedex boasts…

$2.6 billion spent with women-owned and minority-owned companies in FY20.

Fedex partners with several POC advocacy organizations, including “National Minority Supplier Development Council,” “TriState Minority Supplier Development Council,” and “Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).” In order to be a Fedex subcontractor, one must fill out an application, which asks whether your company is “minority-owned.” This is a priority for Fedex.

Without such policies and priorities, race would probably never come into the equation. As stated, undesirables come from all backgrounds – but since Fedex places so much emphasis on hiring non-whites, it’s fair to ask: Might all those customers have received their packages intact, and on time, if Fedex had simply hired the best people for the job?
