Are cuffs the new NAM?

A while back I cited an example of how the Corporate Media will avoid showing photos of non-Asian minority (NAM) suspects. Not that they will NEVER show such images, rather they find creative ways to minimize doing so. Theirs is a multifaceted approach.

In that case, the suspect was a black man, and his actual image was easy to find elsewhere; only the national “news” avoided showing his mug.

But, as can be expected, the powers that be are now ramping up their propaganda campaign. In a more recent case, even the local news station used a similar graphic when reporting on an attempted robbery by a Hispanic man. From ABC7 News Amarillo, Texas:

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man was arrested after he vandalized a vehicle and demanded money Saturday evening.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were called to a disturbance in the Walmart parking lot at 3700 East I-40 shortly after 8:00 p.m.

A man had approached a person in a car, demanded money, and punched out a window of the car after being refused.

The victim chased the suspect through the parking lot. Upon arrival, the first officer attempted to arrest the man while he was still being chased by the victim.

The suspect jumped into the bed of a moving truck to escape from the officer. After a second attempt to arrest the suspect, the man jumped off of the truck and ran.

A bystander witnessed the incident and tackled the suspect…

Guillermo Torres, 32, was arrested…

One must read almost until the end of the article to find his name – and according to a 2013 Slate article, the vast majority of readers never make it even close to the end of the article. In other words, it’s not by accident that Torres’ name appears only about 70% through the article; most readers don’t make it that far.

He looks a lot like Dante Edden, the suspect in my earlier post. I wonder if they’re related…

Is this part of a new trend? I don’t know, but if it is, I’d like to suggest a new euphemism for non-Asian minority criminals: Cuffs.

Edit (07/28/2020): Thanks to commenter Fromage, who brought another recent example to my attention. From New York Daily News:

An Atlanta woman has been charged with murdering her 3-month-old daughter in a car crash Monday.

 

Police said Titayanna Phillips, 21, intentionally drove her vehicle into a car carrying her daughter Khy’undra Henderson, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Our enemies in the media are cunning. After they realize that we’re on to this trick, they give white suspects this treatment now and then as well – but not to the same degree as NAM suspects. How unfortunate that providers of “news” are more worried about deceiving us than simply telling the truth.

BLM monument erected in Portland

I like to check up on things in Portland frequently, and this is what I found today:

I have been unable to find anything about this new monument/memorial online. Some time next week, I’ll contact city offices to clarify who funded this – though it seems obvious that it was a government agency, and the design implies that it’s meant to be permanent.

Funny how Diversity is such a priority, except when black people are featured. Then, all of a sudden, no Diversity is required. If they’re going to use taxpayer money to erect such monuments, then they should be inclusive.

Update: I was able to get through to the Portland Park Department, and they knew nothing of the monument. I was told that the city had nothing to do with it.

Mob attack: Not news. Mean words: News

Arizonan linked to a local news story in a comment on Amren. It includes a video, where we see many young blacks viciously attacking a white man and his daughter, sending the man to the hospital:

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhatan — A group beat a man and his daughter in a Washington Heights deli, knocking the dad out, police said Thursday.

The 22-year-old daughter was punched, kicked and struck in the head with beer bottles inside the Amsterdam Avenue store on July 7 around 11:15 p.m., officials said. Video shows an attacker open a fridge and grab a beer bottle during the assault.

Attackers knocked the 41-year-old dad to the ground where he was kicked repeatedly.

The group took a 39-year-old woman’s cell phone when she tried to call police.

Emergency medical services rushed the dad to the hospital for treatment.

We don’t know what provoked the attack, except that there was some kind of dispute. We do know is that a group of blacks physically attacked two whites in a supermarket, and that this happened in Manhattan (or “Manhatan”). This story didn’t seem to make it to the national headlines, appearing only in local news. ABC7 New York did report it, but neglected to mention the fact that the perpetrators are black, while their victims are white.

Microsoft News, which does report national stories it deems “important,” made no mention of this attack – but it did feature a story (taken from Business Insider) about “a white woman blocking a Black delivery driver from entering a building to drop off food.”

  • A trending video shows a white woman trying to send away a Black man from dropping off a food delivery order.
  • The woman, who says in the video that she lives in the apartment, told Jordan Gipson that “I don’t want you here” and blocked him from entering the door.
  • Gipson told CBS affiliate KCAL that he filmed and shared the video because he “didn’t want to get arrested,” adding that she “was a white woman, and just how things are going now, I didn’t know how it would transpire.”

A video on Instagram shows a white woman trying to block a Black man from dropping off a food order in a Los Angeles apartment, refusing to believe him when he said he was making a delivery for Postmates.

Based on the story, there is no evidence that racism was a factor in this incident – but the term “white woman” appears five times in the article.

We can conclude that if a white person utters mean words to a black person, it’s “national news,” but if a mob of black people physically attacks white people, it’s “local news” at best.

Knowledge can disqualify you from jury duty

The recent sexual assault trial, and conviction, of a naval academy midshipman was reported in numerous news outlets. As far as I can tell, none of them include a photo of the (now convicted) perpetrator,  Nixon Keago.

The New York Daily News is typical of these articles, reporting:

Naval Academy midshipman found guilty of sexually assaulting female classmates

A Naval Academy midshipman accused of breaking into female classmates’ bedrooms, assaulting them while they were asleep and then convincing them to lying about it was found guilty on almost all counts Wednesday.

Midshipman Third Class Nixon Keago was found guilty Wednesday of two counts of sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, burglary and obstruction of justice stemming from three attacks in 2018 and 2019, the Capital Gazette reported.

“He took advantage of vulnerabilities when he took control over them while they were asleep,” Lt. Cmdr. Paul LaPlante said during closing arguments.

 

Keago, 24, accosted the first female midshipman, who was drunk and asleep in her bed, in February 2018, then another in October 2018. In May 2019, he tried with a third.

The Capital Gazette also leaves out any photo, or description, of the perpetrator.

We get more information from Military.com:

The other social movement hovering over the trial is Black Lives Matter.

The movement was established in 2013 after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin. It recently captured renewed national attention after police officers killed George Floyd, prompting weeks of protests against police brutality.

Keago is Black.

During a pretrial hearing last week, both the government and defense attorneys asked for questions of race and bias on the supplemental questionnaire.

The defense, Lt. Dan Phipps and Lt. Cmdr. Andrea Kissner, had concerns about questions on the Black Lives Matter movement on the questionnaire, including if a person would be concerned if a guilty conviction in this case would be detrimental to Black Lives Matter.

Phipps and Kissner also wanted open-ended questions about racial bias. Judge Capt. Aaron Rugh said a question on the questionnaire asking is if the potential member believed Black men committed sexual assault more than white men would be sufficient.

In the end, it doesn’t look like race came up in the trial, but the fact that jurors could be potentially excluded for answering “yes” to the question “Do black men commit sexual assault more than white men?” is disturbing.

What would be the reaction if an attorney suggested that jurors should be excluded if they believed that “Men commit sexual assault more than women?” That attorney would be laughed out of court.

Based on 2016 FBI statistics, blacks represent 29.1% of rape arrests, compared to 67.6% for whites and Hispanics combined. At 13% of the population, this means that blacks are over twice as likely to be arrested for rape as one would expect from their numbers.

Now that you know this, you might be disqualified from jury duty. Congratulations!

Portland Mayor booed and hit with tear gas

I’m hesitant to link to Yahoo News, because they just disabled comments on their articles, in order to improve their community experience. That’s code for, “in order to remove a venue for pro-white opinion.” I’ve got a feeling that, even among the wider public, many people visit Yahoo articles more for the comments than for the articles themselves. Hopefully, their traffic will drop dramatically.

I was immensely tickled upon reading that:

Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler joined the protests in Oregon’s largest city as demonstrators continued to clash with Department of Homeland Security forces deployed by the Trump administration near the federal courthouse.

It didn’t go well for Wheeler, who was hit by tear gas from the officers and jeered by the protesters. Demonstrators frustrated with his handling of the city’s police department and his belated show of support for the protests chanted “F*** Ted Wheeler” and called on him to resign. The protests have been occurring since late May following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis…

As Wheeler was being booed, he was also hit by tear gas.

“I’m not going to lie — it stings; it’s hard to breathe,” Wheeler, a Democrat, told the New York Times. “And I can tell you with 100 percent honesty, I saw nothing which provoked this response.

It’s a pity that a canister didn’t strike his skull and brain him.

The article goes on to claim that:

The crowd’s hostility toward Wheeler comes after the Portland Police Bureau has been criticized for its handling of far-right protests in recent years, as critics say the force generally sides with white supremacist demonstrators over local counterprotesters.

“You have far-right groups coming in from out of town and staging these riots, and the police were, objectively, acting more aggressively toward the community members coming out in protest of these far-right groups than the far-right groups themselves,” Michael German, a former FBI special agent and senior fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice, told the Washington Post.

This is, of course, a bald-faced lie. I participated in some of those “white supremacist demonstrations.” They were not “white-supremacist” by any stretch of the imagination, but they were conservative – and those conservatives treated the police with the utmost respect and deference. In contrast, local Antifa counter-protesters hurls things at the police, and screamed at them.

This is why comments are generally unwelcome on leftist media sites; they don’t want their lies to be exposed.

As for the federal agent who tear gassed Mayor Wheeler, if you’re reading this, let me know; I want to buy you lunch.

More insanity in Portland

I visited downtown Portland again today, and (of course) ran into another protest. This one was directed at the Federal Government. They were demanding that Federal agents be removed from Portland. This is the subject of an ongoing lawsuit. The City of Portland is suing the Federal Government for (allegedly) unlawfully kidnapping peaceful protesters and taking them away in unmarked vans.

Many Portlanders are publicly protesting the presence of Federal agents, but who know how many welcome them? Those of us who welcome Federal agents cannot speak up publicly, or we’ll be targeted for violence. In the early 60s, Federal marshals were sent to the South to enforce racial integration. Just as the Federal Government stepped in to advance the interests of minorities back then, so too should the Federal Government step in now, to protect the interests of conservatives, who are a minority in Portland.

It’s possible that Federal agents have acted inappropriately; I wasn’t there, so I don’t know. But if the City of Portland is concerned about the way the Federal government is handling the situation, then Portland’s government should have thought of that before allowing the city to descend into anarchy and chaos. The City of Portland should have laid down the law, to protesters, that they’re welcome to protest – but not to destroy public property, and not to unlawfully block public roads.

Speaking of which, I saw three large motorcycles, with large motorcyclists bearing official-looking BLM placards, blocking a major street to make way for the protest. The City of Portland has ceded power to the Authority of BLM.

Politically, I’m libertarian. I believe in individual freedom, and I have a problem with government authority in many situations. Over the years, I’ve come to terms with it. But now we have a new layer of authority: BLM. This I cannot come to terms with. Even though I was on foot, and I wasn’t inconvenienced, it irked me that this was being done.

This is not the first time I’ve seen public streets blocked by leftist lunatics. Each time this happens, I have a little less respect for traffic laws. After all, if they can openly violate traffic laws, and suffer no consequences, why can’t I? As long as it’s safe, I see no reason to respect laws that are only selectively enforced.

RIP Jessica Doty-Whitaker

On July 5th, Jessica Doty-Whitaker was murdered, by black hoodlums, for saying “all lives matter.” She was a young mother of a 3 year-old boy.

As if that’s not bad enough, BLM supporters then taunted her family on Facebook.

A few days ago, I added her name to the BLM-Floyd shrine in Portland (it used to be the Apple store).

Perhaps I should have written her full name, including the “Doty” part. In any event, I was curious if they would still be there today.

Indeed they were – and I think the reason is simple: Leftists have no idea who Jessica Doty-Whitaker was. A young white mother, murdered for saying “all lives matter” is simply not on their radar. It’s not included in the news sources that they frequent.

People visit the shrine all day long, and it’s seen by hundreds every day. It’s possible nobody noticed it, but it’s more likely that nobody recognizes her name. I plan on continuing to put her name, and perhaps other names, out there. It’s the least I can do for the memory of those who paid the ultimate price for being white.

Out of all the thousands of interactions, between black Americans and the police, only a handful end with the black person being killed – and yet, we’re constantly told that those people are martyrs in a larger struggle, that their deaths are representative of a wider pattern.

We’re told to “say their names.”

Let us remember Linda Stoltzfus, who was raped, and (probably) murdered by Diversity. A young Mennonite girl, deprived of her life at the tender age of 18 so that promoters of forced integration can feel good about themselves.

Rarely does a day go by without such tragedies taking place. If the occasional death of a black criminal, at the hands of police, constitutes a “pattern of abuse,” then the countless deaths of white women, at the hands of Diversity, would certainly qualify as such.

Target promotes black businesses

I’m getting tired of writing about black people; I think back with nostalgia, of the days when the CCP Virus was first and foremost in the news.

It would even be more fun to write about the weather…

Last week it was rainy and cool. This week it’s hot and dry. Scientists are blaming Weather Change.

Alas, the rest of the world is obsessed with black people, and stories keep coming my way. Stories I can’t keep silent about.

Not surprisingly, the ever Afrocentric Target corporation is rolling out a program to make it easier for customers to identify products from black-owned businesses. From Microsoft News:

Target Just Rolled Out a New Badge to Help You Identify Black-Owned or -Founded Brands

Among other beauty retailers, Target is stepping up to support this new spending initiative. Now, it’s easy for shoppers to identify and support Black-owned or -founded businesses at Target, thanks to a special badge that was rolled out this year.

The new badge, which looks like a brown circle with five skin-tone-colored hearts in it, can be seen in the “At a glance” section, next to the clean- and vegan-certified badges on various product pages on Target’s website. In the beauty section specifically, SheaMoisture, The Lip Bar, and Alikay Naturals are just three Black-owned brands that now have the marker on their products. This simple change makes it that much easier for shoppers to discover and support more Black-owned beauty brands.

I’m confused. Aren’t we constantly being told how racist white Americans are? Isn’t this the underlying message of Black Lives Matter?

If white Americans are so racist against blacks, then wouldn’t such identifying badges make matters WORSE?

Like so many other shenanigans of the far-left, it seems they didn’t actually think this one through. Moves such as this one make it all the more obvious that they don’t actually believe their own rhetoric.

Should we care about “Black America?”

I have a conservative friend who sends me a lot of black conservative videos. I’ve told him I’m a white advocate, and it’s possible that he’s trying to “cure” me of racism. Here’s one video he recently sent me.

There really isn’t anything in that video I would disagree with – except for the underlying status-quo that it’s acceptable to speak of “The Black Community,” but not “The White Community.” It’s not so much the fault of black Americans that this is the case; it’s more the fault of white Americans. It’s white Americans who have marginalized their own people, not blacks.

I do have respect for Candace Owens, based on what I’ve seen of her so far. She’s not perfect, but who is? As for “Kingface,” he’s a little hard to listen to, but it appears that his heart is in the right place as well. It’s a fine line we must walk; we shouldn’t be like Conservatism Inc., putting conservative blacks on a pedestal, and seeking them out to validate principles we should value for their own merit. On the other hand, black conservatism should be encouraged.

Like most of my readers, I’m not a hateful person; the traits I value in white people are the same traits I value in black people. None of us get to choose our race or ethnicity.

Things get more tricky when dealing with groups. There are some things I like about American blacks, but the so-called “Black Lives Matter” movement is putting such sentiments to the test. Many people have a natural instinct to rebel against forced group-think. We don’t like to be manipulated. When told to bow down to an idol, our natural instinct is to smash that idol.

Whenever powerful forces, government and media, try to force an ideology down our throats, some of us are going to object. The iconoclasts among us are going to push back. I don’t know if there have been studies, but I’d be willing to wager that recent events have caused membership in pro-white groups (wholesome or not) to increase. Yes, it sounds hackneyed, but this newest of religions is divisive; it’s forcing a lot of people to pick sides. Hopefully, something positive will come out of this in the end.
