Lokteff and Malkin building bridges

As the depressing trio of Corona, the Stock Market and gloomy weather continues to eat away at our sanity here in the Pacific Northwest, I was delighted to learn (from my friend Diversity Chronicle) that Lana Lokteff, of Red Ice TV, has interviewed Michelle Malkin. Watch it here.

I learned a lot from the interview. For example, I never realized that her husband is Jewish. Malkin is a Yiddish form of the Hebrew word Malka, which means “queen.”

This family name is a matronymic (derived from a female ancestor’s personal name). Malke is a Yiddish form of the Hebrew term Malka, a frequent Jewish female personal name, which means “queen”. The suffix “-in” is common in Jewish family names from Lithuania, and means “man of” (indicating either “son” or “husband” of). The meaning of the Jewish surnames in this group is “Malka’s son”.

Many conservatives are close to white-advocacy, though few will admit it. With any luck, Malkin’s courageous interview will encourage others to come out of the closet. This is a gift that our enemies have granted us; by expelling the more thoughtful, and brave, thinkers from their midst, they nudge those influential people toward us. Thank you, Conservatism Inc!

As I watched the interview, it occurred to me that Anne Coulter should join them.

That way, we’d have a trio of brilliant, beautiful, and courageous women to help spearhead our movement to ultimate victory. It would also ease our depression from the other, aforementioned trio.

AOC: Let us not neglect potential immigrants!

Miss Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is outraged that 150 million would-be immigrants, mostly in Africa and Latin America, are being denied their rightful share of the recently-passed stimulus package.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is very upset that potential immigrants won’t be receiving $1,200 checks in the $2 trillion emergency relief bill unanimously passed by the Senate Wednesday night.

According to 2018 Gallup polls, approximately 750 million people worldwide, would migrate to a different country if they could. Of these, about one fifth, or 150 million, would migrate to the US.

The only reason they’re unable to do so is poverty, and cruel border policies – which are a legacy of colonialism and white-supremacy.

Miss Ocasio-Cortez has a point. In much of Central America and Africa, roving gangs of violent criminals prey upon the local population. The US is large enough to accommodate the entire population of Central America and Africa, and still have room to spare.

For example, we could clear out these useless trees to make room for apartment complexes:

spaceredwoods*

It’s a shame that all this empty space is not being used for factories to help support our burgeoning immigrant population:

spaceyellowstone*

If only we had the political will, there’s no reason we can’t bulldoze these ugly, and uneven, rocks and build shopping malls:

spacegrandcanyon*

As you can see, we have plenty of space that is not being utilized for the advancement of diversity. I would even say that such waste is a crime against humanity.

In a supposedly advanced, and progressive, society such as our own, it’s mind-boggling that we would limit this 2 trillion dollar windfall to those who were able to make the dangerous voyage to our shores – while neglecting the 150 million people who, through no fault of their own, were unable to do so.

Please join me in supporting Miss Ocasio-Cortez in her noble fight to share the wealth worldwide.

Do we need a mensch in the White House?

Mensch: A Yiddish word that means (roughly) “gentleman.”

I got this from a relative recently:

Rabbi Michael Beals:

“The story I’m about to share with you about Joe Biden is special — in fact, I’m fairly certain I’m the only living person left who actually witnessed it firsthand.
It was about 16 years ago, and I was a young rabbi, brand-new to Delaware, on my way to lead a shiva minyan — a worship service following the death of a Jewish person. I was from California. Back then I didn’t know Claymont, Delaware from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

A quick bit of background: When someone passes away in the Jewish faith, we observe seven days of mourning, called shiva. We gather a group of ten Jewish adults together — a minyan — to say the Mourners’ Kaddish. It usually happens in a person’s home — somewhere intimate.

In this case, the deceased individual — her name was Mrs. Greenhouse, of blessed memory — had not been a person of means. She had lived in rent-controlled senior housing in a tall high-rise building off Namaans Road. Her apartment had been too small to fit everyone into, so we conducted our worship service in the building’s communal laundry room, in the basement of the high-rise.

We assembled the ten elders together, and it was in this most humble of places that I began to lead the kaddish. Toward the end of the service, a door at the back of the laundry room opened, and who walks in but Senator Joe Biden, his head lowered, all by himself.

I nearly dropped my prayer book in shock. Senator Biden stood quietly in the back of the room for the duration of the service. At the close of the kaddish, I walked over to him and asked the same question that must have been on everyone else’s mind : “Senator, what are you doing here?”

And he said to me: “Listen, back in 1972, when I first ran for Senate, Mrs. Greenhouse gave $18 to my first campaign. Because that’s what she could afford. And every six years, when I’d run for re-election, she’d give another $18. She did it her whole life. I’m here to show my respect and gratitude.”

Now, the number 18 is significant in the Jewish faith — its numbers spell out the Hebrew word chai, as in “to life, to life, l’chayim!” But it’s also a humble amount. Joe Biden knew that. And he respected that.

There were no news outlets at our service that day — no Jewish reporters or important dignitaries. Just a few elderly mourners in a basement laundry room.
Joe Biden didn’t come to that service for political gain. He came to that service because he has character. He came to that service because he’s a mensch.
And if we need anything right now when it comes to the leadership of our country — we need a mensch — I know this is such a simple, small story. But I tell it to as many people as will listen to me.

Because I think that, in their heart of hearts, when people are trying to think about the decision they’ll make next year — this is the kind of story that matters.
Joe Biden is a mensch. We need a mensch.”

I’m something of an expert on menschlichkeit (the practice of being a “mensch”). I’ve been a mensch most of my life, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve been single for decades.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not bitter about being single. Long ago, I made the decision that I’d rather remain loyal to what I am than sacrifice my true character for the vain hope of acquiring a significant other. Doing so would be tantamount to suicide.

As feminism continues to ravage what’s left of Western Civilization, brute force and violence gain more and more traction as the primary method of communication. Feminists have been at war with themselves for decades, fighting any aspect of femininity that they discover within themselves. Feminism opposes femininity.

Many feminists hate the old “gender-roles.” They associate them with oppression, so they’ll latch onto traditionally male traits, rejoicing when men do the same with traditionally female traits.

Except that deep in their hearts, they still want men who act like men. That’s what many of them are still attracted to. This internal conflict can’t be healthy. It’s certainly not healthy for society.

Insofar as feminists wield power, this conflict translates into superficial obeisance to feminine values, but more meaningful deference to what is perceived as male values.

For example, by opposing the right to bear arms, people are actually granting the ultimate authority to whoever is physically stronger. In the past, rioters would be met with water cannons or worse. These days, rioters are “given room to destroy” and their demands are more likely to be met.

It’s possible that by yielding to brute strength, through public policy, some feminists are appeasing their inner woman. They might actually enjoy some sort of sexual gratification by doing so.

In the past, when men clearly had the upper hand, being a mensch was a good thing. It’s admirable when strong men protect the weak, and show chivalry.

But today, at least in Western society, men do not have the upper hand. Wealthy men are in a class of their own; most of us do not belong in that category – and the fact that there are wealthy and powerful men does not benefit working-class men one bit. Wealthy men are powerful by virtue of their wealth, not by virtue of their gender.

In such a society, being a mensch is not necessarily a virtue – and it might even be a deficit, especially if you’re the Leader of the Free World.

No Rabbi Beals, we don’t need a mensch in the White House. What we need is a MAN in the White House. We need somebody who can fight for us. We need somebody who can play dirty, who can manipulate the Media, play politics with the Chinese Communist Party and say “NO!” to special interests. We need somebody who is willing to piss people off, who is boastful, arrogant and fear-inspiring.

If the United States can’t have such a leader, China and Russia certainly can – and a mensch in the White House will be duly taken advantage of.

I want to make it clear that I’m not disparaging Mr. Biden for his kind gesture to the old Jewish woman; that was a fine thing to do. Good for him, but it doesn’t make him presidential material.

One of the most brutal murders in Atlanta

If you value your life, do not:

a) Cultivate a drug habit

b) Buy your drugs from black gang members

c) Talk to the police while living this lifestyle and

d) Have a black girlfriend or wife if you’re a white man

From 11Live:

“This was one of the most brutal murders or killings we have ever seen,” Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said, as he described the gruesome murder of 33-year-old Christopher Dean…

Prosecutors said he figured one last drug deal and he would be able to turn clean, but he never got that chance.

On that fall day, Dean was invited to the home of brothers Xavier, 23, and Orlando Gibson, 30. Little did he know the invitation to the house on Sandy Creek Drive in Atlanta would lead to his death.

“They pounced on him as soon as he arrived,” Howard said.

It turns out Dean had once cooperated with authorities in California years ago. The case had no relevance to any of the Atlanta gang members.

“It was about just the concept of being someone who was bold enough to cooperate with the police,” said Convery.

There are eight suspects in this case. For more than an hour, prosecutors said five of the men beat Dean with a crowbar and a two-by-four. They also sodomized him and burned him before ultimately executing him. He was shot twice in the back of the head.

The murderers continued to live in the house, with the blood stains still there, for 30 days.

Here’s Dean with his family:

dean1

Here are the five murderers who are already serving life sentences. Three more are facing trial:

dean2

According to the article, the only reason Dean was targeted, and in such a brutal manner, was that he spoke with the police years before – about an unrelated case.

I don’t buy it. I think that part of what drove them to such brutality was the fact that Dean’s wife was black.

This has happened before. In 2008, ex-Marine Jan Pietrzak and his wife Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak were tortured and murdered by three black former Marines. As in this case, the media ignored any possible racial motive; Jan was white, and Quiana was black. NBC told us that…

Three former Marines tortured and killed a fellow Marine and his wife for money in a 2008 execution-style slaying in Southern California, jurors found Wednesday.

Newlyweds Marine Sgt. Jan Pietrzak and his wife Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak were found gagged, tied and shot in the head in their Riverside County home in October 2008.

Sgt. Pietrzak, a helicopter airframe mechanic at MCAS Miramar near San Diego, was found bloody and beaten. His wife’s body was discovered naked. Officials say she had been sexually assaulted..

I’m not saying that criminals don’t torture their victims to send a message about snitching, but many black men get angry when they see white men dating black women – even though they, themselves, often date white women.

Even if Dean’s murderers had specifically stated that they did what they did out of racial animus, we would never hear about it from the corporate media – as long as any other motive was involved.

Yes, I’m mad at China

USA Today has chided President Trump for his use of the term “Chinese Virus.”

WASHINGTON – After lawmakers, community advocates and health experts advised against attaching a location to the coronavirus pandemic, President Donald Trump has continued to refer to it as “Chinese virus,” causing many to double down on their calls to avoid prejudice.

He used the phrase again in several tweets Wednesday morning. In one post addressing Americans laid off because of the virus’ economic impact, he wrote, “The onslaught of the Chinese Virus is not your fault!”

Asked about his continued use of the phrase during a coronavirus task force briefing on Tuesday, Trump said China had been sowing misinformation about the virus’ origins, and “rather than having an argument, I said I have to call it where it came from; it did come from China.”

Funny how the Establishment Left gets upset when we openly recognize the source of a virus that’s adversely affecting us all – yet it has no compunctions about blaming all white people for the sins (real or imagined) of some whites generations ago. When it comes to non-white groups, they’re suddenly worried about “stigmatizing groups of people.”

This is even more absurd when we read, in the same article, that the Congressional Black Caucus, and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus have joined other advocacy groups in telling us to refrain from using the term “Chinese Virus.”

So far, almost all known incidents of virus-related attacks on Asians have been perpetrated by blacks or Hispanics.  Very few were perpetrated by whites. Most of the news reports do not tell us the race of the perpetrators – but they’re quick to remind us that “diversity is our greatest strength.” Personally, I don’t consider it a strength when white taxpayers are forced to pay for police work and prosecution when blacks and Hispanics attack Asians in America. Perhaps Mediagov now has a different definition of “strength.”

As for me, I’ve known some very nice Chinese people, and I’ve been to China. China is a vast country, with many different cultures, languages and histories. But it’s also the source of some messed-up practices.

Right now, I’m not very keen on China. It’s a place where people kill their baby daughters, then scour the world for endangered species – so they can kill them (or have Africans do the killing), and use the body parts as aphrodisiacs, now and then releasing deadly viruses upon the rest of the world. The Chinese Communist Party, which rules China, is probably the most dangerous governmental organization in the world.

I don’t condone attacking random Chinese people, but China as a whole has a lot to answer for right now. Through their evil government, and some cultural practices, which happen to be disgusting, China has earned the distinction of having its name attached to this virus.

More anti-white drivel from Business Insider

If you have a sudden urge to lick the seat of a public toilet, and you’re not sure why, I can help explain it to you: You’ve been influenced by an “influencer.” Since mere mortals don’t know what to do with our lives, we need “influencers” to keep us at the cutting edge of the newest fads…

… such as licking the toilet on an airplane. I can totally understand – since there are no gallons of ice cream for sale on airplanes to lick, one must be resourceful. Besides, you probably can’t contract the Corona Virus from licking ice cream.

From Business Insider (Singapore):

  • Influencer Ava Louise filmed herself licking a plane seat toilet, starting a bizarre “coronavirus challenge.”
  • “Please RT this so people can know how to properly be sanitary on the airplane,” she said.
  • She told Insider she did it because she didn’t want coronavirus getting more attention than her.
  • “What’s not gunna make people sad is a hot rich blonde 20-something-year-old licking a toilet,” she said. “It’s not like the virus can kill me anyway because I don’t use Facebook.”

An influencer filmed herself in a plane toilet licking the seat as part of a “coronavirus challenge.”

Ava Louise has appeared on the “Dr. Phil” show and has 19,000 TikTok followers and 150,000 Instagram followers. She posted the video to her Twitter on March 14.

Classy! Oh, did I mention she’s white? Business Insider noticed this, and made sure to include the following in their article:

People responded with disgust that she would do such a thing just for the attention.

“The whites are at it again,” one person said, while another responded “Classy.”

A day later, Louise confirmed that she started the coronavirus challenge for “clout” and that her actions were no worse than “eating a dude’s a–.”

“I can’t get coronavirus,” she added. “Just like the gays, rich blonde b—— are IMMUNE.”

What if she had been black? Would Business Insider have included the comment “The blacks are at it again” in the article? Rhetorical question.

A stroll in a historic cemetery

Once in a while, when the opportunity arises, I enjoy strolling through old cemeteries. They’re good places to contemplate our own fleeting existence, and to enjoy interesting artwork and history.

Yesterday, I found myself near Lone Fir Cemetery. I decided to take some time, and give it a visit. My specific goal was to find the grave of Dr. James Hawthorne – who has a major street, and a bridge, named after him in Portland.

I was unable to find Hawthorne’s grave, despite having asked a few strangers (the cemetery is a popular place, and not just for the dead). I did notice a very large number of tombstones in Russian. I’d seen this in other cemeteries, but not to the same extent as in Lone Fir. Russians really did figure prominently in Portland’s history, starting at least from the mid 19th century.

Life was often short and brutal in the old days:

20200312_171034

It’s not a Jewish cemetery, so I was surprised to find this:

20200312_171540

The Hebrew letters at the bottom stand for “may her soul be bound in the bond of life.” Unfortunately, unless I’m missing something, there’s a typo on the tombstone; whoever carved it may have been dyslexic, because he switched the letters. It’s supposed to be “תנצבה” not “תצנבה.” I wonder if I was the first to notice, or if it’s causing any problems in Heaven.

One historic Portland figure whose tombstone I did find was Asa Lovejoy:

20200312_170711

It’s impressive that he still had “friends” around in 1943 to erect this monument – over 60 years after his death! I’m guessing they never knew him personally.

Ilhan Omar Endorses Joe Biden After He Confuses Wife With Sister

I’ve got to hand it to the folks at The Babylon Bee. This is brilliant:

Ilhan Omar Endorses Joe Biden After He Confuses Wife With Sister

But Omar was forced to reconsider her endorsement and eventually switched it over to Joe Biden after the former vice president confused his wife and sister at a recent rally.

“After seeing how Biden mixed up his wife and his sibling, I realized he is the man to lead our nation,” Omar said in a speech Tuesday. “Biden appears to be a man of upstanding moral character and fine cognitive ability. Other people think he is senile, but I know what’s really going on: he is simply coming to embrace a progressive morality where one is free to marry one’s sibling.”

I’m kicking myself for having failed to think of this myself.

On the flip side, Omar would be encouraging cultural appropriation. It’s well known that American blacks are descended from the “kings and queens of ancient Egypt.” Those kings and queens practiced sibling marriage – so it should be forbidden for whites to do so;  it’s as bad as whites having dreadlocks.

The Guardian’s two-faced stance on disease

For years, conservatives have been warning about the health dangers of mass immigration into the United States. In 2014, VDare published an article titled “Open Borders Admit Tuberculosis And The Government Is Transporting It Throughout The Country.”

The type of TB is unspecified, but as Starnes remarked, Dr. Marc Siegel tells me that the strain of tuberculosis that is common in Central America is in fact that drug-resistant kind, but the big issue here is the shroud of secrecy thats enveloped these facilities. HHS refuses to really go in depth and tell us exactly what is happening. I can tell you right now that many of my sources have been threatened, they say that if they speak out, if they speak to the media they could lose their jobs. They also say they face arrest

Many of the people I talk to here in Texas firmly believe this is nothing more than a government-sanctioned invasion of our country, Starnes concluded.

No wonder that the press and Oklahoma Congressman Jim Bridenstine have been blocked from inspecting the federal facilities. The truth is too alarming, in terms of the disease threat and the recklessness of the administration in its quest to repopulate America with big-government Democrats.

Also from VDare “Mexican Teenager With TB Refuses Treatment.”

Francisco Santos is a Mexican teenager living in Duluth, Georgia who has tuberculosis and won’t take his medicine. So far he’s only given it to four people that we know of, and the cruel Yankee authorities have put him in jail. Where is the ACLU when you need them? They say his status as a minor will complicate a deportation process that can take months, anyhow, but actually, by the time he gets through all the appeals, he’ll be 18 anyway.

Last year, Daniel Horowitz wrote an article, in The Conservative Review, titled “Border Patrol releasing thousands who were exposed to diseases like tuberculosis.”

On Sunday, Aaron Hull, chief patrol agent of the El Paso sector, divulged to the public what we already suspected but most government officials assiduously covered up. The head of the second busiest illegal immigration corridor told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is increasingly “caring for more and more sick people, because a lot of these aliens coming in are carrying contagious health conditions, things like chicken pox, scabies, tuberculosis, lice.”

Tuberculosis. That is the disease we sought to eradicate through our laws as early as 1907 by requiring every prospective immigrant to wait at Ellis Island, away from the population, until they got the green light to enter. That is a far cry from what a CBP official told me two weeks ago – that “we have not seen any specific, unusual, or alarming public health or infectious disease threats in persons in CBP custody.”

CBP declined to comment further on Hull’s revelation upon my request.

But these warnings fell on deaf ears – at least as far as the Corporate Media is goes. I might be wrong, but were there any calls, from the New York Times, or The Guardian, to put tighter controls on immigration for the sake of our health? Not from The Guardian, as far as I can tell.

Now, The Guardian has the gall to declare:

Trump’s immigration policies may put people at risk of coronavirus – experts

There is a widespread fear that the president’s policies have sown such fear of deportation and wariness of any contact with US authorities among immigrants – who also have greater difficulty getting healthcare – that many of them will not seek help if they fall sick with the virus.

“If you continue to discourage people from seeking services under normal circumstances, you cannot expect them necessarily to seek those services just because you as the racist, anti-immigrant president have decided that now it’s a good idea. That’s not gonna work,” said Max Hadler, director of health policy at the New York Immigration Coalition.

It’s not as if The Guardian doesn’t consider Tuberculosis to be a serious threat. Just a few months ago, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (sounds Ethiopian) wrote, in The Guardian:

First, TB has a singular capacity for contagion. When someone with active TB coughs or sneezes, they launch respiratory droplets containing the bacteria into the air. These droplets can stay suspended for hours, turning shared spaces – homes, schools, public transport, hospital waiting rooms – into transmission hot spots. And unlike some diseases, such as measles, which can be caught only once, this “smart” pathogen can cause disease multiple times.

But easy as TB is to catch, it is hard to diagnose. Once someone is infected, either the body’s immune system defeats it, it becomes dormant (latent TB) or it develops into the active disease.

A government’s primary responsibility is to protect its own citizens – and stopping contagious diseases at the border is an integral part of this responsibility.

There is a crucial difference between tuberculosis and the Corona virus: The main tuberculosis threat comes from OUTSIDE our borders, while it’s unlikely that many illegal immigrants brought Corona into the US; they’re more likely to contract it here.

But for The Guardian to display, over the course of many years, complete indifference to the health threats of mass immigration – and then use a contagious disease as an argument against enforcing the law with those same migrants, seems a bit too convenient.

To quote The Guardian article again:

In the face of more stringent immigration policies and heightened enforcement, it’s perhaps unsurprising that in December 2018, 6.3% of adults in immigrant families said they or a family member had avoided going to the doctor or a clinic because they did not want to be asked or bothered about their citizenship status.

It’s estimated that there were over 44 million immigrants in the US in 2018. If 6.3% of adults with families are afraid of revealing their “immigration status,” then any way you cut it, that’s a lot of illegal immigrants.

If those illegal immigrants are afraid to seek medical treatment, due to the fact that they broke the law, then the problem is that they BROKE THE LAW. The solution should be to repatriate them to wherever they came from.

A little off topic, but I’ll part ways with some of my fellow Alternative Conservatives and suggest a solution to the common leftist objection “But who’s going to pick our crops?” In my opinion, if a Latin American wants to cross the border and pick crops, we should have a mechanism for this to happen. We should allow expedited work visas for this, along with strict supervision, background checks and fair treatment for the workers. Let them come with their families, do their work, make sure they have some sort of heath insurance – and then, when the work is done, they go home.
