A scholarship for white males

Thanks to human-stupidity (he sends me a lot of stuff) for sending me this story:

When Colby Bohannan was looking for college financial aid nine years ago, he concluded that he was at a disadvantage because of his race.
“In the landscape of the scholarship foundations in this country, there is just one demographic that does not have a single dedicated scholarship,” he told ABCNews.com. And that demographic, said Bohannan, is white males.
“That’s the gap we’re trying to fill,” he said.
Bohannan said he found a plethora of scholarship options for minorities and women when he was searching in 2002, but not one dedicated solely to white males.
So after taking a hiatus from school during which he served in the Iraq War, Bohannan launched the Former Majority Association for Equality, a nonprofit organization that takes its name from the fact that according to U.S. census numbers, non-Hispanic whites make up only 45 percent of the Texas state population…
Since founding his organization, Bohannan said he’s heard from supporters, as well as from those who accuse him of bigotry.
“We’re not racists, just guys trying to help young Americans,” he said.
A spokesman for Texas State University, where Bohannan is currently studying, distanced the school from the Former Majority Association for Equality.

I can’t help but wonder at what point, if any, it will become non-controversial to support whites as a group. If there is only one white person left on the planet, would it then be alright to support him without fomenting a storm of protest?
We can argue that young whites should not be encouraged to subject themselves to so-called “higher-education”, which is mostly a front for the propagation of hatred toward whites. But we can’t deny that there is some benefit to having a degree, and Bohannan’s heart is certainly in the right place.

WWII tombstones desecrated in Libya

Vandals have destroyed tombstones of fallen World War Two soldiers in Benghazi – and not for the first time. According to Alarabiya:

Headstones on World War II military graves in Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi have again been desecrated in the second such attack in four months, local officials said on Saturday.
“On Thursday, Christian graves were desecrated for a second time in Benghazi,” Mohammed al-Quzairi of the local security committee told AFP, adding that the identity of the assailants was unclear.
The Benghazi civilian council said it was trying to track down those responsible.
“We are cooperating with the security committee to ascertain the identity of the assailants and bring them to justice as quickly as possible,” its spokesman, Khaled al-Jazawi, said.
A similar attack hit the same military cemetery in February.
The assailants shattered headstones of British and allied servicemen who fought in North African desert campaigns against the Nazis during World War II.


Among the comments there, we find this:

Even though the above sentiment is a minority one among Muslims, it is always present in Muslim societies. Every religion will have its extremists, but the Muslim ones seem to have fewer qualms about using violence and destruction for their ends.
Lest anybody has forgotten, here are some before and after photos of one of the great Buddhas in Bamiyan, Afghanistan:


The Notre Dame in Paris took almost 200 years to construct. If current trends continue, it will share the fate of the Buddhas of Bamiyan and the WWII tombstones of Libya.

As sure as night follows day, if Europeans continue their current course, Europe’s cathedrals will be destroyed. Its treasures will be looted and its heritage will be put in jeopardy. Consider the plight of the Egyptian Copts. From Me Forum:

Most of us in the West have little knowledge of what life is like for Christians in the Muslim world. Take for example, the Coptic Christians, who were once the dominant religious group in Egypt. Previously the mainstay of their nation, Copts are now living as an oppressed minority, denied religious freedom and equal status in Egyptian life. The Copts are routinely denied meaningful employment and may not hold positions in the Egyptian Civil Service. Copts are refused permission to build new churches and even a request to renovate a church that is badly in need of repair can lead to an outbreak of severe Muslim violence against the Copts. Recently, there have even been calls for a return to collecting Jizya from the Copts, a tax that the Qur’an instructs Muslims to charge to all Dhimmis (non-Muslims) whenever Muslims are in power.

There is no reason to expect Europe’s non-Muslim minority to be treated any differently. By continuing to support pro-immigration politicians, Europeans are actually voting for their beautiful cathedrals to be destroyed, their cultural treasures to be looted and their daughters to be violated.
Working to prevent such a future does not make a person “racist” or “far-right” or an “extremist”. It makes him caring and wise, courageous and far-sighted. Those of us in America, witnessing the spectacle of Europe’s demise from afar, can only wonder and weep – and yes, we can also write. When will Europeans rise in large numbers to put an end to this insanity?

More black-on-white mob attacks in Portland

I found this in a comment at American Renaissance (xxxtonygunsxxx). Little by little, Portland is getting the “diversity” it always wanted. A local news station reports how vibrant youths are making life in Portland more interesting:

Investigators are searching for dozens of teens reportedly involved in mob assaults on two consecutive nights in a Southeast Portland park.
The Portland Police Bureau reports that a little after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, responding officers found several groups of teens roaming the park. As they were telling the teens to clear out, a witness directed them to a 14-year-old boy who had sustained facial injuries in an alleged attack.
The boy told police that he was with a friend when a group of African American teens approached him, beat him up, and stole his cell phone, iPod, headphones and hat. While police found no other victims, witnesses alleged that a group of five to 10 African American teens were deliberately seeking out and attacking white teens, and also assaulted a transient.
He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
At about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, officers again responded to the park, where they found three men who claimed they had been attacked by a group of 20 to 30 African American teens. The men, ages 22, 23, and 26, said they were at the tennis courts when a group nearby began throwing bottles onto the courts, and then approached them and instigated a fight. Two of the men suffered facial injuries, but declined medical attention.

Not that there’s anything new about this phenomenon; it occurs naturally wherever there are more than a few blacks. But it must be getting pretty bad for a “mainstream” news outlet to actually report its racial dimension.
Every now and then I ask myself if we’re really justified in berating blacks to the extent we do, if they, as a group, truly deserve to be compared to apes, designated as inferior beings and given the epithet of “sub-human”. Then incidents like this surface (just about every day).
It’s not that every black is violent and dangerous. Clearly this is not so. But it’s difficult to not notice the lack of self-flaggelation among blacks. Where are the “African-Americans of conscience” who publicly condemn such attacks? Why has the “African American community” not produced any popular leaders who actually work to redeem its image through penitence and introspection?
White liberals, living comfortably in their gated communities, condemn anybody who brings up black-on-white violence as “racist”. Meanwhile, and predictably, the vast majority of blacks do as they see. Monkey see, monkey do. There seems to be no independent thought among them at all.
But there are a few conservative blacks who do hold their co-racials accountable. Yes, there are a few. But any black, who is blessed with a few more I.Q. points and some eloquence, is able to make a name for himself  (and probably a decent living) among white “conservatives” eager to show they are not racist.
White “conservatives” are, to white leftists, what blacks are to whites. Monkey see, monkey do. If white leftists fall over themselves in adoration of the black man, then so too will white “conservatives”. Each time they do so, they seem to think it’s some sort of novelty or one-upmanship over the leftists. They seem to believe that, by doing so, they are sowing confusion and discord with the camp of the Left. Nothing could be further from the truth. White racialists roll their eyes at blacks and think “how unoriginal they are”, while leftists roll their eyes at “conservatives” and think “how unoriginal they are.”

The Left: White men have no brains

I found this piece of idiocy on Facebook:

This embodies the flawed logic of the race-denialist Left on several levels.
1) It mixes fads, religions, race, sexuality and ethnic groups in order to attack people who have certain ideas about race. The implication is that race is no more meaningful, to how your body is structured (the brain being part of your body) than which religion you choose to follow or which language your ancestors spoke. Let’s try this method on something else:

Now that makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it? By mixing in “punk”, “Hispanic” and “woman” with race and ethnicity, the intent is clearly to confuse.
2) I found it amusing that the standard profile chosen for this diagram was a European/Caucasian one. This affirms the “racism” of the author – who obviously saw Caucasian features as normal.
I’ve rendered a service to the creator of the above diagram, and cured it of its racism:

3) In fact, there are differences in average brain size between the races – but probably not between the various religions, artificial ethnic groups such as Hispanics, sexualities or social groups. This is to be expected, since the races have been evolving for tens of thousands of years while groups such as “punk” or “Islamic” have little genetic meaning.
4) It’s pretty clear that, since there is no category for “white” in the diagram, the implication is that the “racist” is white. A straight white male, to be more precise. Of course there is the other subliminal message as well: That straight white men have no right to identify as a cohesive group, that they have no group rights at all. We might even interpret it as saying that if white men form any sort of group consciousness at all, it is a sign that they are “racist”. The white man can be either “racist” or entirely invisible. There are no other options for him.
5) While scores of books, hundreds of in-depth essays and countless lectures have expounded on the biological reality of race, the only retort that the race-denialists can come up with is: “You have no brain.” The race-denialist books are merely long versions of the same retort.

Israel is actually deporting Africans back to Africa.

Hurray! Alarabiya writes:

Israel said on Monday it had started rounding up African migrants in the first stage of a controversial “emergency plan” to intern and deport thousands deemed a threat to the Jewish character of the state.
Israel Radio reported that dozens of Africans, mainly from South Sudan, had already been detained in the Red Sea resort of Eilat, including mothers and children.
“This is only a small group of the infiltrators,” Interior Minister Eli Yishai said. “I’m not acting out of hatred of strangers but love of my people and to rescue the homeland.”
The goal is to repatriate all the estimated 60,000 African migrants, whose growing numbers are seen by many Israelis as a law and order issue and even a threat to the long-term viability of the Jewish state…
Israeli human rights and activist groups back the Africans. But rightwing and religious parties say that if they are not stopped today’s 60,000 will become 600,000 in a few years, in a population of 7.8 million.
Poor south Tel Aviv residents say affluent north Tel Aviv Jews can afford to be liberal, because the Africans are not in their back yard. An opinion poll last week showed 52 percent of Israelis agree that the Africans are “a cancer”.

This truly brings joy to my heart. If other countries take Israel’s example, then perhaps Africa will be forced to solve its own problems instead of pawning it’s refugees off on the rest of the world.
As for Alarabiya, I couldn’t help but notice the subtle hint that they do not support Israel in this endeavor. Look at the photo they inserted into the article:

An image of an anonymous little girl is media code for “innocent and harmless”. It would have been more accurate to show shiftless young men. If the hordes of African migrants were composed mainly of little girls, it would not be nearly as big a problem.
Africa is a very large place. The fact that these refugees bypassed the entire continent of Africa, and chose Israel as their new home, means that they have rejected Africa; they have made a clear statement, with their feet, that Africa is a failure. If some parts of Africa are not failures, then those are the places the refugees need to go. Africa should take care of her own. If she can’t, then something is wrong with her and we need to consider the source of the problem. Since it’s likely the problem has something to do African people themselves, non-African nations should prevent Africans from settling in their lands.
The article goes on to say that…

An opinion poll last week showed 52 percent of Israelis agree that the Africans are “a cancer”.

This is a harsh way of putting it, but I do wonder about the other 48%. Are they truly so dense that they do not grasp the danger of immigration from Africa? Most likely, they have adopted the “don’t know, don’t care” attitude of other liberals. They have no clue as to what large numbers of blacks do to a society, and they refuse to go to the trouble to find out. Either that or they wish for the destruction of their own homeland.
I wanted to point out that most, if not all, of the Israeli Jews who reject the Africanization of their country also reject the Africanization of the rest of the world. No, I did not do any surveys when I was there. But I know the mentality. Many Israeli Jews fled black crime in America and Europe. Contrary to what some people claim, there is no double-standard here; not all Jews are of one mind and the ones in Israel tend to have a better understanding of the concept of “nation” and how nations are lost.

Muslims in Myanmar = trouble

Europe isn’t the only place being threatened by a rising, and violent, Muslim minority. Wherever Muslims reach numbers where they gain political clout, trouble inevitably ensues. We’ve all read about the clashes in Africa, especially Nigeria, between Muslims and Christians. It seems they’re stirring up trouble in Myanmar too. When I say “stirring up trouble” I readily admit that I don’t know who instigated the latest hostilities. I also understand that Muslims have faced persecution in Myanmar in the past. Furthermore, though I do have a bias in favor of Buddhists, obviously they’re not angels. But Buddhists do not divide the world into “Buddhist regions” and “regions that are not yet Buddhist”. As far as I can tell, Buddhists have no ambition to colonize  the world, either by force or through proselytizing.
Yes, it’s true that Buddhists are not perfect, but my own impression of them is overall positive. Some forms of Buddhism also happen to quite rational – something that cannot be said of “Western religions”.
Now there is a state of emergency in Western Myanmar, as Buddhists and Muslims have come to blows.

YANGON, Myanmar — Myanmar’s president has declared a state of emergency in a western state where sectarian tensions between Buddhists and Muslims have unleashed deadly violence…
The move follows rioting on Friday in two areas of Rakhine state that state media say left at least seven people dead and 17 wounded, and saw hundreds of houses burned down. The unrest spread on Saturday and Sunday.
Thein Sein called on the people, religious bodies, political parties, civil society and the media to join hands with the government to maintain the rule of law.

Aside from being yet another example of the “wonders of diversity”, this should serve as a warning for the Western world. The importation of a group whose aim is to conquer their hosts is a foolish move. Unless, of course, the goal is to increase government power over citizens. After all, let’s look at the inevitable government reaction to such unrest:

YANGON, Myanmar (AP) — Authorities in western Myanmar imposed new curfews Sunday to keep deadly clashes between local Buddhists and Muslim Bengalis from escalating.
State television announced a 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m curfew starting Sunday has been imposed in the Rakhine state capital of Sittwe and three other townships because of elements there acting unlawfully and causing disorder. Public gathering of more than five persons were also banned.

Curfews and bans on public gatherings are the result. In general, the more diversity a government imposes on its citizenry, the more violence there will be. The more violence there is, the more restrictions said government can impose upon its citizenry. The more restrictions it imposes, the more power it has. “Diversity” is a tool for the few to gain power over the many. It serves as an (indirect) excuse for “gun-control” laws, limitations on movement, curtailing of freedom of speech and higher taxes (AKA “slavery”).
According to Wikipedia:

Buddhist persecution of Muslims arose from religious reasons, and occurred during the reign of King Bayinnaung, 1550-1589 AD. After conquering Bago in 1559, the Buddhist King prohibited the practice of halal, specifically, killing food animals in the name of God. He was religiously intolerant, forcing some of his subjects to listen to Buddhist sermons possibly converting by force. He also disallowed the Eid al-Adha, religious sacrifice of cattle. Halal food was also forbidden by King Alaungpaya in the 18th century.
When General Ne Win swept to power on a wave of nationalism in 1962, the status of Muslims changed for the worse. Muslims were expelled from the army and were rapidly marginalized.

It’s easy to judge Bayinnaung and Win as “intolerant”. But perhaps they were only trying to prevent their nation from being overrun. I am not aware of any recent be-headings, suicide bombings, hijackings or violent protests over “Buddha cartoons” by Buddhists. I don’t see Buddhist temples replacing churches all over Europe. I haven’t read about Buddhist rape gangs targeting non-Buddhist women and girls. From my own, admittedly limited, experience, I’d rather live in a Buddhist society than one dominated by any other religion – perhaps even Judaism.
Islam does not have a good track-record when it comes to upholding the principals that make Western society great. Therefore, it should not be allowed to take root in Western societies. It obviously poses a threat to every non-Muslim nation that cherishes its freedom. There is not much we can do about nations that are already Muslim, so we should not forcefully interfere with them, but give them advice when needed. I see nothing wrong with Westerners rendering aid to Muslims, in their own countries, when there is a natural disaster. There’s nothing wrong with supporting programs to help persecuted minorities, or women, in those lands. But to bring them into Western lands, in large numbers, is akin to importing an infectious disease.

Another black on white beating…

But this time a couple of white men stood up to them. From Yahoo:

A group of Calgary teenagers picked the wrong time to start a fight. UFC middleweight Nick Ring, who will meet Court McGee on July 21 at UFC 149 in Calgary, witnessed a group of teens beating up two people who were waiting at a bus stop in the 9600 block of MacLeod Trail in the city.
Ring jumped out of his car, checked on the victims and then helped run down several of the suspects. Calgary police arrested three juveniles and charged them with common assault. Their names weren’t released, but they were a 17-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl. Sgt. Kevin Brookwell, a spokesman for the Calgary police, said a fourth male juvenile is being sought for questioning and could also face arrest.
The victims were both 17, a boy and a girl. The boy was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released…
Ring called the pack of kids who assaulted the couple “hoodlums” and said they showed no courage.
“They look they think they came right from a rap video,” Ring said. “They watch too many movies and they obviously think they’re a lot tougher than they are. They think it’s OK to rob people, apparently, but it’s not. This was a situation where they were just punks, and not very tough people. No one with an ounce of bravery would consider any such actions.
“I wasn’t afraid of one of them. They were wannabe gangsters and they needed to be dealt with.”
Ring said he didn’t know the name of the other person who came to the victims’ aid. He said that man did most of the work in subduing the assailants.

I’m assuming the victims were white; they could have been Asian. In any case, though I admire Ring’s courage, ideally, people should be better prepared and not depend on their bare hands to protect their fellow whites. It’s too dangerous; black thugs too often carry guns and they often gang up, in large numbers, against non-blacks who challenge them. The best way to confront them is with superior firepower.

South Sudan; off to a wonderful start!

South Sudan’s president, Salva Kiir, has accused government officials of stealing four billion dollars and using the money to buy property abroad. From alarabiya:

Corrupt officials in grossly impoverished South Sudan have stolen an estimated $4 billion from the world’s newest nation, President Salva Kiir has said, in an appeal for funds to be returned.
“Many people in South Sudan are suffering and yet some government officials simply care about themselves. The credibility of our government is on the line,” Kiir said in a letter seen by AFP Monday.
“An estimated $4 billion are unaccounted for or, simply put, stolen by current and former officials, as well as corrupt individuals with close ties to government officials.”

On an unrelated note, what sort of statement is the president of this central African nation making with his choice of hat:
When people in power show an eccentric taste in fashion, I think it might be a red flag. Qadhafi comes to mind.

How to rope in the masses and sway public opinion

I found a fine essay on lynching in America by link-hopping through friendly blogs. Phinehas Fury lists the fallacies spouted by leftist ideologues, and destroys them one by one. Some excerpts follow – though I recommend reading the entire essay at its source.

General Misconceptions

The first common misconception is that lynching was always administered by Southern white supremacists against innocent blacks, of whom they blamed their poor economic conditions during the Reconstruction on. This idea is full of numerous flaws, as there were numerous examples of lynching prior to 1865, in every state. However this lie is continually perpetuated by the NAACP and SPLC, because of a study the NAACP did on lynchings from 1889-1918[vi], as well as a study of the years 1882-1965 by the Tuskegee Institute[vii]. As a result of this propaganda the average citizen is left with the impression that lynching came into vogue soon after Lee’s surrender to Grant at Appomattox, VA, because Southerners had an axe to grind and decided to take their rage on blacks. Yet no matter how romantic they try to paint this faux picture of lynchings being strictly a Southern invention, it ends up resembling a low-budget D class film that everyone pokes fun at…
Another fact PC groups don’t let out often, is lynchings didn’t always occur in the south, as every northern state and territory had lynchings prior to 1865. While the states of Missouri, Virginia, Ohio, Indian Territory, and Texas registered the most, every state and territory had its fair share of lynchings prior to the end of the war…

The Black Lynch Mobs

Another common myth is that whites were the only participants in lynch mobs. Hollywood reinforces this stigma by showing lynch mobs composed of trashy looking whites, which look the part of characters from the movie Deliverance. Never do they show blacks in the mobs, nor would they dare portray a black mob lynching anyone. Instead they cast the blacks as the calm educated ones, warning the idiot whites of their behavior, and then hiding their families to prevent them from becoming the next victims.
In reality, blacks often times played a vital role in lynch mobs. On more than one occasion blacks were called upon as material witnesses. However in other times their family had been hurt by the person the lynch mob sought, fearing the court system would fail them, they avenged their loved ones by joining the mobs. Proof of this can be seen in the following newspaper clipping from the Rochester Evening Journal, dated July 30, 1935, in which some blacks were present in the lynch mob…

Fury’s essay is well-written and very informative. As is the case with many such articles, I got to thinking if this is something I can send to my race-denialist relatives without having them shrugging it off as “racist literature”. As soon as a race-denialist sees any sign of pro-white sentiments, he shudders and recoils in horror. I wonder if it’s acceptable to take an essay such as this and customize it for a wider readership. To disguise it so that it seems like a harmless academic study of lynching without bringing up Southern pride or pro-white sentiments – simply because my intended targets are not ready for that sort of thing. They need to be fed in bite-sized portions.
It would be nice if talented authors, such as Fury, would publish two versions of their work; one for educated people and the other for mass-consumption. That way, their core message can gain a wider audience without being branded as “racist”. The public needs to know the facts, but since their minds have been poisoned, they can only digest them if they are presented in tiny portions. We would do well to have a library of such articles, which we can draw upon to weaken the tyranny of lies under whose shadow we all live.
