What was he thinking?

A while back, somebody planted a bomb, set to go off during a march in honor of  a dubious character named “Martin L. King”.  This event happened in Spokane, Washington.  There was some speculation who the culprit might be.  In the pro-white community, many of us hoped it would turn out to be a Muslim extremist or a generic nut-job with no particular agenda and, now that it turned out to be a white-supremacist, we are saddened.  Half Sigma already wrote of this matter, but here’s my two cents anyway.  According to the Oregonian, the would-be bomber was a regular poster at VNN.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A man tied to a white supremacist organization was arrested Wednesday on charges that he left a sophisticated bomb along a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade route in Spokane, raising concern in a region that was once a hotbed for hate groups.
Kevin William Harpham, 36, of northeastern Washington, made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Spokane and waived his right to a bail hearing…
A federal law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity and declining to provide additional details because the case is ongoing, said Harpham was a white supremacist.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups across the nation, also said they have a record of him being a member of the white supremacist National Alliance in 2004. But the neo-Nazi group has fallen on hard times since the death of its founder William Pierce in 2002, Potok said.
“We don’t know when he joined or if he remains a member,” said Mark Potok of the Alabama-based SPLC.
Pierce was author of “The Turner Diaries,” a novel about a future race war that was influential in the white supremacist movement.

It sometimes seems like the MSM (mainstream media).will not mention the words “white supremacist” without also mentioning the SPLC, and their incessant claims that all pro-white organizations are “hate groups”.  While the above article does not mention VNN, I read the same article today, in the hard copy version of the Oregonian, and it did mention VNN.   My guess is they edited it out of the online version in order to avoid bringing that site any more traffic.
Assuming the above account is accurate, what was Mr. Harpham hoping to accomplish?  The man is 36 years old; surely old enough to understand that his bomb could not have accomplished anything positive for the white race.  On the contrary, the SPLC and the anti-white media love it when people like him do crazy things and victimize innocent people.  His actions translate into money, and credibility, for the MSM and the same for the SPLC.
I think it is a mistake to categorize people like Harpham as normal pro-whites, just like us, only more angry and thus, more extreme.  I do not think he exists on the same continuum as most of us at all.  More likely, he suffers from mental illness.  His perception of the world, and the way he chose to act upon them, are not rational ones.  Yes, I realize that Muslim extremists might be characterized this way too.  So be it; this does not make them any less of a threat.
Just for fun, let’s try to cook up some rationalizations for planting bombs in public places for the sake of the white race:
1)  This bomb will KILL ALL THE MUDS!
2)  When I explode this bomb, it will prove to everybody that whites are superior – because we make the best bombs!
3)  After this bomb explodes, other whites will say, “wow, that’s great!  Why didn’t I think of that?” and bombs will go off all over the place.  The revolution will begin!
4)  Because of my bomb, MUDS will fear white people – and they’ll stop murdering and raping us.
5)  This bomb will convince the government to take whites into consideration and give us concessions.
6)  After this bomb goes off, I will not get caught, but I will threaten to set off more and more bombs until my demands are met.
There are probably crazy people in every movement.  I’m certain that there are crazy Mormons, Sikhs, environmentalists, PETA members and yes, even crazy Jews.  But it is the crazy “white supremacists” that the MSM loves to latch onto more than anybody else.  In the end, the failed bomb plot accomplished the following:
1)  A 36-year-old man will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
2)  The MSM will rub it in our faces for decades to come.
4)  Organizations, such as the SPLC, will get even more funding and prestige.
Thanks a lot Harpham.  I hope your folly dissuades others from following in your footsteps.

A hotchpotch of pro, and anti-HBD videos on YouTube

I found some very well-made race-realist videos a long time ago, had bookmarked them – and then they disappeared.  They lay out the basic arguments, made by race-deniers, and debunk them in laymen’s terms.  Apparently,  they were edited and reposted.  Here is #1 and here is #2.
While I’m at it, here is another one that explains I.Q. and race more eloquently than I’ve seen elsewhere.  There are a couple of opposing videos posted by blacks that are fun to watch.
One opposing video cites a study comparing whites, blacks and Hispanics, all under I.Q. of 70.  In the study, most of the blacks were able to perform simple functions (such as tying their own shoelaces), some of the Hispanics were able to do so and none of the whites were able to do so.  In his video, Jwriter4 (or, rather, the book that he reads from) argues that this is evidence that blacks are more intelligent than the test scores imply.  Actually, the results show us that a sub-70 I.Q. for whites is pathological, while it is “low-normal” for blacks.  This is why blacks, of such low I.Q., can function; they are not “mentally defective” but rather “dull”.  The same applies, to a lesser extent, to Hispanics.  Aside from this, the obvious question that should be asked is: why would severely retarded people of different races take the tests differently?  Did somebody coach them?  It is hard to imagine how different cultures (assuming that the participants actually were of different cultures) could have affected the test-taking abilities of severely retarded people.  Yet this is what Jwriter4 seems to imply.  The simplest explanation is that whites, Hispanics and blacks all take the test in the same way and the differences we observe, in their abilities, are due to how “low I.Q.” is manifested in each race.  In other words, this experiment serves to bolster H.B.D., not to discredit it.
The other opposing video is funny because the weakness of JAYLOVE47’s (no relation to JAY) arguments are complimented by his own obviously low I.Q.  His claim, believe it or not, is that blacks are simply not taught higher learning in schools.  If they were taught the same subject matter as whites, they would be just as intelligent as whites.  Hard to beat that for a knee-slapper.
This anti-HBD video contributer, called “kkilo34”, seems to base his argument mainly on the premise that the “brain of a black person is entirely indistinguishable from the brain of a white person”.  His assumption seems to be that, if one thing is “indistinguishable” from another, it is therefore identical.  Aside from that, he fails to take into account that racial differences, in brain size, are statistical.  If we had two sets of 100 brains, one from blacks and one from whites, and we knew that all 200 individuals were the same physical size, we would be able to determine which set was from blacks and which set from whites.  But, at the same time, we could not take any individual brain and determine, with certainty, the race of its owner.  One may also wonder if kkilo34’s reasoning would force him to admit that there might be meaningful differences between the races – since members of different races are distinguishable one from another.

Jewish prayer on airplanes

I recently came across an article describing how a teenage Mexican Jew had mortified passengers and crew members with his tefillin.

LOS ANGELES – Pilots on an Alaska Airlines flight from Mexico City to Los Angeles locked down the cockpit and alerted authorities Sunday when a flight crew grew alarmed at the behavior of three men who turned out to be conducting an elaborate orthodox Jewish prayer ritual, officials said.
The men, all Mexican nationals, began the ritual that involves tying leather straps and small wooden boxes to the body, and the crew of Flight 241 alerted the cockpit, airline spokeswoman Bobbie Egan said.
“Shortly after takeoff, a flight attendant saw what she believed was unusual behavior from three passengers on board,” Egan said in a statement. “The three passengers were praying aloud in Hebrew and were wearing what appeared to be leather straps on their foreheads and arms.”
The cockpit was placed on a security lockdown for the rest of the flight — meaning the door couldn’t be opened even for pilots to leave briefly. Normal protocol calls for the cockpit to be locked, but on longer flights the pilots will leave and return from the flight deck.

Glancing through the comments, it was clear that many people are freaked out by anything unusual; their immediate reaction being that it must be a terrorist plot of some kind.  I’ll readily admit that there can sometimes be a fine line between innocuous religious rituals (such as praying) and being obnoxious.  I don’t like it when a baby cries incessantly on an airplane – but what do I know?  Maybe that baby is praying (presumably in “tongues”).  After decades of massive societal “diversity training” and sensitivity to other cultures, one would think that something positive would come of it.  Instead, we have a society of people who would never dream of objecting to the dismantling of their own nation and culture – but who become hysterical when confronted with traditional Jewish prayer.  One would think that, of all people, flight attendants would have some familiarity with various customs and beliefs.  After all, they work on international flights.
All that being said, an airplane is not the ideal place for such prayers.  But, like other religions, Judaism sets specific times for prayer.  When travelling, it is not always possible to find the most convenient times for such things.  In a crunch, the observant Jew may find himself with no other options but to recite his prayers on the plane.  Perhaps he also feels closer to God up amongst the clouds.  Those clouds can look very spiritual at times.
Back when I was a young whippersnapper and I was religiously observant, I traveled across the country on a Greyhound bus.  We had a stop in Butte, Montana – and this was in the 70’s – so it was a fairly redneck sort of place.  It was time to pray, so I took out my tefillin and started to pray in Hebrew – right there in the bus station.  There was an old man sitting next to me and the creases in his face spoke of years of toil in the sun.  He looked confused and nervous for a while.  Then he turned to me and asked, “that Chinese or Japanese?”  I politely answered that it was Hebrew and that I’m Jewish and he nodded.  A few moments later he turned to me and asked, with a thoughtful expression that deepened his creases, “Jewish…   that similar to Judaism?”  I got a chuckle and he got a new story to tell his buddies and grandkids.  At no point was security called.
But all that was before 9-11.  Now, because the U.S. was stupid enough to allow Islamic fanatics in, anything unusual is considered suspect – at least on an airplane.  But now even train stations (be sure to read the comments) are being subject to “security measures”.  It was not hard to predict that the “security state” would gradually creep into every public area.  Will we reach a state where there is no tolerance for unusual behavior even on public streets?  Where a person can be detained for dressing funny, acting strangely or making an off-color joke?  Let’s hope not.

My encounter with an illegal immigrant

A couple of days ago I stopped at a Jiffy Lube.  Almost as soon as I walked into the waiting room, a young Hispanic man began chatting with me as if he’d known me for years.  As the television on the wall displayed scenes of destruction from Japan, we chatted about the Tsunami to while away the time.  With a heavy Spanish accent, he shifted to topic to his own woes, how he had to “get his papers in order” etc.  Then he related to me how, when he was only 16 years old, he got into a fight.  It was with another Mexican he said, and that the other guy, who was older, had been picking on him.  He told me how, after they arrested him, he told them, “I’m here illegally.  Can’t you just deport me?”  He was told that he would have to serve his sentence and then he would be deported.  I asked him, just to clarify and make sure I heard him right, “you mean you told them you were here illegally and they refused to deport you?”  With obvious bewilderment, he repeated, “I told them I was here illegally – but they didn’t care.”  He continued, “now that I’m out of prison, it has disappeared.”  “What has disappeared?” I asked him.  “The deportation order has disappeared.  They will not deport me.”  I got the impression he wanted to return to Mexico.  What was stopping him, I do not know.

"Legal" residency in Europe? No problem!

The blogger “Human Stupidity” inspired me to write this post.  I put it off for a while because there is always so much bad news coming from Europe, and so many others blogging about it, that I didn’t want to simply add fuel to the fire.
But the recent decision, by the “European Court of Justice”, that allows the parents of any child of E.U. citizenship to remain in Europe to live and work, is especially egregious.  Reporting on the “Zambrano decision” Carol Coulter, of the Irish Times, writes:

The ruling of the court came yesterday in response to a question on the interpretation of EU law from a Belgian tribunal and is binding on all member states making decisions in similar cases. It states that member states are required to allow third country nationals who are parents of an EU citizen child to live and work in the EU state, where a refusal to do so would deprive the child of the enjoyment of the rights of citizenship…
The Immigrant Council of Ireland has welcomed the ruling, saying Ireland’s practice of refusing to give some parents of Irish children permission to live and work in this country must now end. Its senior solicitor, Hilkka Becker, said those parents who had already been deported must be allowed to return.
The European court case arose in relation to two Colombian nationals, Mr and Mrs Ruiz Zambrano, who were refused asylum in Belgium. While awaiting a decision on their application the wife gave birth to two children who acquired Belgian nationality.

Either the European court, and the “Immigrant Council of Ireland”, are exceedingly stupid or they welcome the wholesale replacement of European people by Africans and Asians.  Even though the case that prompted this decision involved two Columbian parents, it is obvious that the Zabrano’s were deliberately chosen to portray migration in the most positive light: An intact Christian nuclear family whose father became unemployed through no fault of his own.  The reality will be much different: Hordes of unemployed (or underemployed) Muslim African and Asian males who impregnate European women.  The bastard children of such unions, being “European citizens”, will allow their sperm-donor fathers to remain in Europe.
Human Stupidity lists the ways this decision is evil (edited by me):

It is another example of encouraging and rewarding illegal behavior.  That is my main issue! This selects for the worst people to immigrate.
Why don’t they get immigrants with PhD’s?
It is legally enforced enticement to jump borders and knock up women.
Taking away the right of countries and the entire EU to keep people out.
Actually, they can knock up European women in their own country now and get the right to go to Europe.  Great!  Maybe next in line are women who bear children to anyone who pays a good amount of money, maybe 100,000.  One kid a year, by different fathers.  At least this would select for rich foreigners to come to Europe.  That is, either more intelligent proficient professional people, or successful criminals and politicians.

Well said, H.S.!  The ruling really does encourage a free-for-all whereby anybody, with a penis or vagina, can now “legally” reside in Europe.  That is the only qualification.  You must be able to reproduce.  Obviously, Africans and South Asians are much better at reproducing than Europeans – so where does that leave Europe?  To put it bluntly, it turns Europe into a fresh cow-pie in a Summer meadow.  Anybody who deposits larva can remain and feast.

More than 45 countries send aid to Japan

So far, I have not been able to find a list of all the countries that have sent (or intend to send) aid to Japan.  We can glean a partial list from here and there.  The  partial list would include:

We can safely assume that most European countries are sending aid.  Glaringly absent, as usual, are any sub-Saharan African countries.  South Africa might, perhaps, be sending aid; it still has some residual resources and infrastructure from when it was run by whites.  What about the rest of Africa?
We saw photos of Abuja, Nigeria in a recent post on this blog.  Abuja showcases what we are supposed to believe Africa is really about.  We are told, time and time again, how Africa is not really as bad as the media portrays it to be.  For example, in his photo project “The Other Africa“, Philippe Sibelly tells us that…

There is no denying that Africa faces many issues, but all the positives coming from the Continent are never reported on. This Afro-pessimism hides many encouraging news stories. African economies grow at rates far higher than in the West, boosted by high commodity prices. Many countries (France and the UK, the two main former colonial powers, the United States, but more importantly India and China) have a renewed interest in these lands…
My Senegalese friends (definitely not malnourished) insisted I visit them in Dakar and my vision of Africa has been changed forever since. I discovered Africans living in a very similar way as mine: getting up early in the morning, defying rush hour traffic on their way to work and planning their weekend over dinner with their family…
Having had the chance to travel to many other African countries after that, I realised they were not alone; they were not exceptional. All across the continent, African professionals live very similar lives to the Western middle classes. I decided to document this emerging African middle class and other aspects of this African ‘normality’ as the story of Africa I learnt from the Western media was not complete.

If so, why is it so rare to find black African nations contributing to humanitarian causes such as the plight of Japan?  Even when their black brethren, in Haiti, were suffering and dying, Africans appear to have been among the last to join in the effort and their contributions were dwarfed by those of white and Asian nations.  If Senegal is as “similar” to Western nations as Sibelly claims, then I want to know if it is among the scores of nations contributing aid to Japan.  Either Africa is, indeed, poor and backward* or they don’t give a damn about anybody else in the international community.  Another possibility (and I predict somebody will claim this) is that Africans are contributing mightily but the media is keeping this fact a secret from the rest of us.  Not likely.
Of course some Africans will volunteer to travel to Japan to participate in rescue efforts.  Some out of genuine goodwill.  Others as a means to hook up with Japanese women.
For the record, I am not in favor of governments sending aid to either foreigners or domestics.  Charity should be left to private individuals and organizations.  Each dollar sent as aid was taken from an American and it would have been more productively spent by those who earned it.  But let us not entertain illusions that the nations that are not offering aid are  refraining from doing so for libertarian reasons.  Either they cannot afford to do so or it is not a priority in their eyes.
* In which case, cities such as Abuja are merely “bling” on a grand scale.

A disgusting spectacle

Sometimes I question the assessment of Jews as an “intelligent people”.  If we are so smart, why are those who supposedly represent our people so oblivious to the obvious?  “Kulak”, commenting on a post at The Irish Savant, linked to an article highlighting the alliance between Jews and Muslims in Europe to combat the rise of “extreme right parties”.
The article reads, in part:

PARIS (EJP)—Prominent Muslim and Jewish leaders from across Europe pledged to stand together against the rise of extreme-right xenophobic and racist parties that represent an escalating peril to ethnic and religious minorities across Europe, including Jews and Muslims…
The leaders expressed deep concern about the emergence into the political mainstream of extremist parties in many  European countries and declared that it was “totally unacceptable” that several of these parties had been accepted by governing coalitions as tacit partners where they are allowed to help shape the agenda…
Citing studies which show that anti-Semitism and Islamophobia are both growing rapidly in countries across Europe, the communal leaders affirmed that “Jews and Muslims are equal stakeholders in Europe, not expendable guests, and must therefore enjoy the same rights as everybody else. Appeasing those that sow the seeds of hatred and division is not only morally wrong, but will have disastrous consequences for Europe if allowed to continue.”

If anti-Semitism is “growing rapidly” across Europe, perhaps idiots like Rabbi Schneier should consider their own role in causing it.  After all, it is the likes of him who give Jews a bad name.  He might as well sacrifice Christian children for their blood.  How can you dwell in somebody else’s land, promote policies that will surely transform the natives into minorities – and then wonder why people do not like you?  I wonder if Rabbi Schneier also promotes massive Arab immigration into Israel.  Would he accept scores of Africans into his own home and grant them “equal rights”?
I wonder if during the conference, described in the article, anybody even asked basic questions such as “is there any justification for anti-immigration sentiments among Europeans?” or “might high crime rates among immigrants, and the targeted rape of native European women, have anything to do with the rise of such movements?”
People such as Rabbi Schneier, who believe that Jews would be better off in a Muslim/African Europe, should not be in “prestigious” conferences.  They should not be wearing suits and ties.  Instead, they belong in group homes for the mentally defective, dressed in dirty hospital gowns covered with their own drool.

White privilege?

I really enjoyed that video and I find it encouraging.  Thank you Andrei.  It shows that many whites, who we would assume to be non-race-realists, are actually well aware of the higher criminality of blacks.  What they were practicing, in the video, was a form of racial profiling based on real patterns  The experimenters assume that a young white man is just as likely to be a thief as a young white man.  Another experiment they could have done would be to have a crying child be carried away by a woman.  People would assume that the woman is the child’s mother and my guess is that few would intervene.  Replace that woman with a man and see what happens.  There is a stereotype that sexual predators/kidnappers are much more likely to be men.  This stereotype has a strong basis in reality.
The experimenters in the video are putting the cart before the horse.  The overall criminal behavior of blacks has conditioned people to expect criminality from them.  The overall honest behavior of whites has conditioned people to expect honest behavior from them.  The stereotype follows reality, not the other way around.
Videos such as the one above turn otherwise rational people into ready victims.  Women see them and intentionally drop their guard when around black men.  Many of them then become rape victims.

If I were a rich man…

… I would donate some money to a trustworthy Japanese charity and travel there myself to help with the recovery.  No doubt I speak for many in the pro-white movement when I say that the catastrophe in Japan causes us grief and that we give our moral support.
Actually, rich or not, I will be donating to Japan – through my taxes.  This is one cause I don’t mind my tax dollars supporting (since they’re being taken from me anyway).  Hopefully, they’ll be put to good use.

African scams

In the pro-white blogosphere, we are used to reading about the physical atrocities committed, by blacks and Hispanics, against whites.  But there is another realm crime that gets less blog attention: black African scammers who target Westerners (I.E. whites).
The Nigerian scams are famous.  Less well-known are the Ghanaian ones.  They seem to specialize in the area of romance.  Since many men, and even some women, are desperately lonely, they may be  easy pickings for ruthless Africans – who steal not only money but hearts as well.  At least one man committed suicide after realizing he had been fooled.
The U.S. embassy in Ghana warns:

United States citizens should be alert to attempts at fraud by persons claiming to live in Ghana who profess friendship or romantic interest over the Internet. Correspondents who quickly move to discussion of intimate matters could well be the inventions of scammers. If they are after your money, eventually they will ask for it.

It is likely that most victims of such scams never speak up or report them, partly from embarrassment and partly because they realize that the odds of recovering their money are slim to none.  All told, such scams amount to many millions of dollars, transferred from honest, but naive (or greedy) whites to black Africans.  Here is a website that will help you recognized some of the frauds out there.  As for me, I can spot them a mile away.  On many occasions, I have sought house-mates.  Whenever I place an add in Craigslist (or similar sites), the majority of responses are scammers.  Their English is poor, especially considering the background they claim for themselves.  They ask questions whose answers are already in my original post and they typically claim to be an attractive female – typically an “international model”.  On a couple of occasions, I have had some fun with Nigerian scammers.  I replied to one man, “I already have plenty of money.  Perhaps you can send me some Negro slaves?”  He never wrote back.
While scammers live all over the world, it appears that an inordinate number of them hail from Africa.  So, when we compile lists of the things sub-Saharan Africa has given to the world, let us not forget massive fraud.  It seems that, as technology finds its way to darkest Africa, it only serves as a means for some of them to find new ways to victimize us.  Is there an “off-switch” for Africa?
