Abuja – a successful city?

Sagat recently linked to this YouTube video (in a comment) and said:

Here’s a vid of Lagos, Nigeria. It may look rundown to your eyes, but it is a civilization. And watch to the end to see the capital, Abuja. That place actually looks like a decent city.

Yes, Abuja does look rather decent, judging from the video.  But I couldn’t help but notice that, throughout the entire video, not a single white or Asian was shown.  What Nigeria seems to lack is racial diversity.  So, if it is a successful nation, or if Abuja is a successful city, then we must conclude that racial diversity is not essential to success.  If it is not successful, then… well, what is successful in black Africa?
There are many YouTube videos on Nigeria, almost all of them interesting.  They all paint the same portrait: an overwhelmingly black nation.  Why can’t we have a “white Nigeria” that’s extremely populous and almost 100% white, just as Nigeria is almost 100% black?
But there’s nothing new in all that.  What is new is that I’ve been working a lot of overtime in order to save up for my upcoming vacation.  I’ve also been spending a lot of time planning for this vacation.  Where am I going?  To a place I’ve always wanted to visit: Madagascar.  Many of y’all might think I’m crazy, and maybe I am.  But Madagascar is a fascinating place and I hope to learn much while I’m there – and to enjoy what remains of the natural beauty that island was blessed with.  Lemurs, Baobab trees and my favorite reptile, chameleons.  One interesting fact about Madagascar is that, although it is located only a short distance from the East African coast, it was first settled by Indonesians.  The largest ethnic groups there are of Indonesian descent and Malagasy is an Asian language.  They migrated prior to the Islamic transformation in Indonesia, so they maintain traditional Indonesian beliefs, with a local flavor.  I’m leaving in another month and, obviously, my blogging will be limited during that time – unless y’all want to hear all about my travels.
I’ve still been finding time to translate “The Ashkenazi Revolution”.  I am now in the middle of chapter four; the project is proceeding more quickly than I’d expected and I am enjoying it very much.

Associated Press: "Final Solution" sought for white males

It is as if the MSM is testing the waters to see just how blatant they can be, in their anti-white diatribes and headlines, without triggering an outright revolt against them.  Though we are all accustomed to anti-white bias in the media, it seems that there is an ongoing effort to escalate the intensity of their campaign.  Typically, they bash whites in a roundabout way, by promoting non-whites.  In this way, it is understood that whites are the “bad guys” without actually coming out and saying it.  But now and then the attacks are more brazen.  For example, the recent A.P./Yahoo headline that states:

WASHINGTON – The U.S. military is too white and too male at the top and needs to change recruiting and promotion policies and lift its ban on women in combat, an independent report for Congress said Monday.
Seventy-seven percent of senior officers in the active-duty military are white, while only 8 percent are black, 5 percent are Hispanic and 16 percent are women, the report by an independent panel said, quoting data from September 2008.
One barrier that keeps women from the highest ranks is their inability to serve in combat units. Promotion and job opportunities have favored those with battlefield leadership credentials.
The report ordered by Congress in 2009 calls for greater diversity in the military’s leadership so it will better reflect the racial, ethnic and gender mix in the armed forces and in American society.
Efforts over the years to develop a more equal opportunity military have increased the number of women and racial and ethnic minorities in the ranks of leadership. But, the report said, “despite undeniable successes … the armed forces have not yet succeeded in developing a continuing stream of leaders who are as diverse as the nation they serve.”
“This problem will only become more acute as the racial, ethnic and cultural makeup of the United States continues to change,” said the report from the Military Leadership Diversity Commission, whose more than two dozen members included current and former military personnel as well as businessmen and other civilians.
Having military brass that better mirrors the nation can inspire future recruits and help create trust among the general population, the commission said…
Stretching the definition of diversity, the report also said the military must harness people with a greater range of skills and backgrounds in, for instance, cyber systems, languages and cultural knowledge to be able to operate in an era of new threats and to collaborate with international partners and others.

The boundless stupidity of this article, and the tax-payer study that spawned it, speak for themselves.  A glance at the comments gives a small degree of hope that many are getting fed up with the naked hatred displayed toward whites by the media.  I fear, however, that many of the comments are from the same small group of motivated online activists who are always on the lookout for this kind of garbage.
I do think it is interesting that Jelinek will barely even recognize the one form of diversity that matters in an organization, diversity of skills and backgrounds, as “diversity”.  To her, it is “stretching the definition of diversity”.  In other words, the “diversity that really counts”, in her view, is the advancement of her own favorite races and gender.  All other diversity is just along for the ride.  The last time I attended “diversity training”, I asked the instructor, “if diversity is all around us, why do we need to push it so much?”  Her answer was that some forms of diversity are “more important” than others.
What I want to know is what actually motivates these people.  Are they really so full of hatred that they cannot refrain from spewing their venom for more than a few days?  Is this all part of a campaign to desensitize the public to anti-white propaganda and, at the same time, demonize whites to the point where they will gladly march off to extermination camps “for the greater benefit of society”?  Or perhaps it is a scheme designed to push the issue so far in one direction that it will generate a backlash.  Be it as it may, the “two-minutes hate“, directed against Emmanuel Goldstein, never seemed to have any positive outcome in Orwell’s novel 1984.  Ironically, the protagonist’s girlfriend, Julia, was the most hysterical of all the haters in her group.  This was her way of both having fun with an absurd situation she had no control over and of deflecting suspicion from herself.  I wonder how many “Julia’s” silently lurk among reporters.

Desmond Moore: arrested for kissing a white woman?

The far-left Oregon rag, called “Willamette Week”, ran an article a while back implying that a black man was subject to harassment for sharing a “mutual, consensual kiss” with white women.  The article, published in October, states in part:

Now McCall says another of her worst nightmares has come true­. Her 21-year-old son, Desmond Moore, has spent more than a week in Washington County Jail facing a Measure 11 sex-abuse charge she believes is the result of simply sharing a kiss with a white woman.
She says a grand jury is set to decide Wednesday, Oct. 27, whether to indict Moore for first-degree sex abuse, which carries a mandatory six years in prison.
“I have to say, I wonder how much race plays in this. My son is African-American. She’s a white female,” McCall says. “I have no idea why this charge was brought upon him.”
Rob Bletko, the Washington County chief deputy district attorney prosecuting the case, declined to comment. Sgt. Dave Thompson, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, says race had nothing to do with the arrest but declined further comment…
Just 2.1 percent of Washington County residents are African-American, according to the U.S. Census.
State Rep. Lew Frederick (D-North/Northeast Portland) says he hasn’t heard complaints about Washington County specifically. But he says African-Americans like himself have learned to suspect unfair treatment anywhere they go.
“If you fail to expect that, you could get hurt even more,” Frederick says. “It’s something that you learn to understand early on.”
McCall says she’s prepared to hire a lawyer and call the national NAACP if Moore is indicted.
“We’re not going to just sit back and hope the system will do the right thing,” McCall says. “I fight all the time [as an educator] to make sure kids are not scarred by this system, and I am not going to let it happen to my son.”
 

But of course; the system is perfectly fair for white people – who never suffer injustice at the hands of government goons.  The authorities did state that the indictment had nothing to do with race.  Is it not possible they are telling the truth?  Must every injustice (assuming that’s what it is) perpetrated against a black, by the system, be on account of his race?

The Willamette followed up, more recently, telling us that “a grand jury… declined to indict Moore on charges of first-degree sex abuse, and Moore was released from jail after eight days.”  While the original article portrays Moore as an upstanding citizen, we can certainly be justified in having our doubts considering the worship of black males in the media.  Also, I do wonder how much a role the “black victim” argument had in convincing the jury to acquit.  Until leftist organs, such as The Willamette, start giving us honest and balanced racial news, we must always consider their accounts to be half-truths and lies.

I would like to believe that our “justice system” is disturbed enough about miscegenation to act in the way The Willamette accuses them of.  I would like to think that whites would have enough pride in their own heritage to make the lives of such couples as miserable as possible.  Practically every other race and ethnic group on Earth reacts negatively when their women are snatched up by foreign men.  It is whites who are abnormal in this regard.

Abortion funding and blacks

There are times when conservative values clash and when, if we wish to take a position at all, we must choose between one evil or another.  It seems to me that abortion, if not outright murder, is something very close to murder.  It certainly should not be condoned or looked upon as a perfectly legitimate form of birth control.
I have already pointed out that the black percentage of the U.S. population has been creeping upward since 1930 – despite massive immigration of non-blacks.  If we look at the following table from Wikipidia (bold added), we can clearly see this trend:

And yet we are told that blacks resort to abortion, as birth control, far more than any other race or ethnic group.  In fact, we even find this phenomenon being referred to as “genocide”:

Minority women constitute only about 13% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions.

On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.
This incidence of abortion has resulted in a tremendous loss of life. It has been estimated that since 1973 Black women have had about 16 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated “Since the number of current living Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing 16 million represents an enormous loss, for without abortion, America’s Black community would now number 52 million persons. It would be 36 percent larger than it is. Abortion has swept through the Black community like a scythe, cutting down every fourth member.”

If not for abortion, this increase would be far greater.  But, almost to a man, conservatives (including race-realists) have applauded the loss of Federal funding to “family planning” clinics.  They do not want their tax dollars to fund mass murder.  Who can blame them?  But can there be any doubt that some of them secretly want the abortions to continue?  The fact is that nobody, even blacks, would benefit from the presence of another 13 million blacks in the U.S. – especially when we consider that the vast majority of those unborn babies would have been born to unwed, lower-class, women.  The odds of their growing up to be criminals, and a burden to society, are very high.  Of those 13 million, how many would have been murderers or rapists?  How many would have been welfare recipients?  On the whole, is the world better off or worse off without them?  Of course, we can never know for sure; they were never born and there is a possibility that one of them could have discovered a cure for cancer or a source of cheap energy.  But the odds that those people would have been a net deficit to society are far greater.  In a world of limited resources, what is the best choice for mankind?
In his book, “Paved with Good Intentions“, Jared Taylor suggests that mandatory (temporary) sterilization should be given to all single mothers who are on welfare.  For this he was lambasted by the same sort of people who believe murdering one’s baby should be a “right”.  Taylor’s suggestion is a very good one and it has the added benefit of mitigating the runaway black fertility rate.  Unfortunately, the ruling class in America will never consider such an option.  Needless to say, blacks would never do so willingly either.
There are two reasons blacks are the number one users of “abortion services”: overcharged libidos and a lack of foresight.  Poverty has nothing to do with it.  All the young black women, who walk into the clinics for an abortion, could easily have walked into the same clinics for real contraception solutions.  Those who run the clinics have repeatedly stated that they do not look upon abortion as the preferable form of birth control.  Even in their eyes, it is a last resort.  The reason those young black women do not think ahead and plan ahead is that they get lost in the moment.  They have a high time-preference.
Those of us, who personally know young black women at risk for out of wedlock and unwanted pregnancy, might speak to those individuals.  Perhaps we can make a difference on the individual level.  But we cannot make a difference on the societal level.  We cannot overcome the genetically determined tendencies of millions of people.
If all black women ceased having abortions, the downfall of Western civilization would be greatly hastened.  Our world would rapidly become a miserable place, even for blacks – as they would lose the crutch of white society and have to fend for themselves.  So do we allow the unborn to be sacrificed in order to retard our decline or do we fight for the rights of the unborn and allow them to rapidly destroy us?

Holder looks out for "his people"

Countenance linked to a story about attorney general Eric Holder defending himself against a accusations that his refusal to prosecute black panther members for voter intimidation stems from his racism.  Quoting Holder, the story reads:

“Think about that,” Holder said. “When you compare what people endured in the South in the 60s to try to get the right to vote for African Americans, and to compare what people were subjected to there to what happened in Philadelphia—which was inappropriate, certainly that…to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line, who risked all, for my people,” said Holder, who is black.

Though some of the comments express doubt that the “my people” Holder refers to are “black people”, there can be no other logical interpretation of his words.  He clearly is not referring to his colleagues in the government or Americans in general.  He is referring to black Americans.
While I think it’s fine and dandy that a black American thinks of other black Americans as “his people”, there is a problem when such an individual is charged with serving all Americans equally with justice.  A white attorney general should consider other American whites as “his people” too.  And, though whites tend to be far more fair-minded than other races, I would not expect blacks to be content living under white rule either.  Racial politics being the way they are, whites should have their own leaders and blacks should have their own leaders.  Only then could impartiality be reasonably expected.
But Holder is being rather disingenuous when he refers to black Americans as “his people”.  As Steve Sailer has already pointed out…

Further, anybody familiar with the racial structure of the West Indies — if you’re not, Malcolm Gladwell’s chapter in Outliers on his mother’s family in Jamaica is a good introduction — would recognize that Holder is from Barbado’s mulatto middle class, rather than from its black agricultural masses. As Gladwell points out, West Indians who look like Holder (or Gladwell’s mom) didn’t get that way by accident. Generations of careful breeding requiring a fair degree of social segregation have typically have gone into keeping the mulatto elites of the West Indies from slipping into the black masses.

Like Obama, Holder owes his job to the black half of his ancestry.  Like Obama, Holder conveniently ignores the white half – because he knows that being white counts for nothing in this country, and far less than nothing in the Obama administration.  If I had the opportunity to speak to Eric Holder, I would look him right in the eye and say, “Mr. Holder, you are white.”  Of course, shortly thereafter, I would be audited by the I.R.S. and who knows what else.  But I would still do it, just to see him fume and turn red.

A wonderful website for lazy moments

I wanted to share a website that has provided much entertainment for me.  It is a vast collection of amateur animations, some of them of amazing quality:

I’ve been visiting this site for quite some time now; I can’t even remember how I found it.  I recommend signing up and then using the search feature.  You can type in random words in the search bar and then just click on the results (for me, it’s anything longer than two minutes).  Many treasures are there to be found and I would list some of my favorites here – but there are so many…
The vast majority of the animations are family-safe.  Some of the ones that include an “adult” warning are actually quite tame – and I am not sure why a warning was even included.  However, once in a while you may encounter offensive material (few and far between).

Media trickery regarding Libya

All mainstream Western news organizations have the same approach to persecution against blacks, real or perceived: They publicize it for all it’s worth.  This pattern is so obvious that there is no need for me to elaborate.
A few days ago, commenting on my post about blacks in Libya, Fred linked to this article, which reads in part:

Indeed, hundreds of black Africans were penned in behind a wall Tuesday, far from the Tunisian entry point. Tunisian volunteers attempted to beat back reporters who spoke to them, but they said they had been held there for two days with little food or shelter. They were part of a group of several thousand foreign workers who were prevented from leaving.
The crush at the border turned menacing on Tuesday, as stick-wielding volunteers from the nearby town of Ben Gardane beat anyone – most were Egyptians – who tried to get through, and left thousands in a crush against a gate. Scores of overheated and dehydrated people were dragged over the wall, some unconscious.
Some Tunisians are angry at the more than 10,000 refugees who are encamped in their small town, believing the men are taking their jobs. Other people from the democracy movements in neighbouring towns are helping the refugees, providing food and volunteering at refugee camps.
But officials from the UNHCR confirmed that sub-Saharan Africans are being singled out for exclusion from the border, and kept in dangerous conditions in the no-man’s-land between Libya and Tunisia. A few hundred Malians were allowed through over the weekend, but no black faces were visible Tuesday among the more than 10,000 people who did get through.
 

I thought this was very interesting – and certainly newsworthy.  But it also occurred to me that mainstream news organizations might choose to avoid the racial angle of this story.  After all, if whites saw that even the brown people of North Africa wish to distance themselves from black Africans, they might entertain the thought that there might be substance to such attitudes.  Giving ammunition to “racists” is the last thing the mainstream media would want to do.
So I did a quick survey of the various news organizations and how they covered the refugee crises in Libya. CNN, the L.A. Times, the Daily Press, BBC, and CBS all completely avoided any mention of a racial component to the crises.  The New York Times gave only the slightest hint of a racial component and provided an explanation other than racism: the victims were mistaken for mercenaries.
When I  tell people that their news sources are propaganda, they typically object that they “don’t see any propaganda”.  What they don’t seem to realize is that the propaganda lies as much in what is not said as in what is said.  As long as they continue to drink from the poisoned well, their thoughts will be tainted and compromised.  In this state, their “opinions” (on racial matters) are worthless.

Senior "activism"

What should a criminal do when he gets too old for normal criminal activities?  A career of crime does not usually include a 401K plan.  On a related note, when I came across a short blurb recently, in the “metro” section of the Oregonian, that read:

Salem
Man, 81, sentenced to jail in election fraud
An 81-year-old man who used the names of his deceased son and brother to vote was sentenced last week…
The jail time will run concurrently with a previous six-month sentence in federal court for collecting Social Security benefits in his brother’s name.

Salem, like most of Oregon, is a very white city.  So why did I suspect, when I came across this article, that the perpetrator was black?  That was a rhetorical question.  A simple Google search yielded his photo:

Is there any doubt as to which party he voted for and which candidates?  This is a perfect example of how some black criminals view their activities as more than just the pursuit of personal gain.  They probably see themselves as “freedom fighters” against the (white) Man.  With an aging white population, perhaps it’s time whites start thinking along the same lines.  After all, three months in jail is not too heavy a price to pay for such “activism”.

The plight of the homeless

Well, not so much the homeless – but the plight of those of us unfortunate enough to be stopped at a red light right next to where a homeless man (or worse, a homeless woman) is standing.  Unless we have a morsel of pre-packed food to give him, we may be subject to pangs of guilt no matter what we do.  If we give him money, we know he is likely to spend it on alcohol or drugs.  If we give him nothing, we may castigate ourselves for doing nothing.  While some of us may donate to organizations that help the homeless, there is nothing quite like face-to-face giving.

This in mind, I have decided to put together small packets of food and other necessities.  Inside the packet will be a leaflet that has a positive message that the recipient is unlikely to get elsewhere.  It could be, for example, a message about HBD or a statement of positive identity for whites.  Though most of these messages will go unread and end up as rubbish on the street (where somebody else might read them), some might actually get read by the target audience and open some minds.  In this way, we can accomplish two good deeds at once – and guilt will be a thing of the past.

Libya and blacks as a destructive tool of government

Steve Sailer writes, in his VDare column:

Kaddafi’s PR offensive in Africa over the last couple of decades was quite a hit with sub-Saharan Africa’s naïve. Trevor Johnson wrote in back in 2000:

“…his Pan-African speeches were taken at face value by the thousands of desperately poor Africans who flocked to work in Libya.”

The population of Libya today is about 6.5 million. By one estimate, there are 1.0 to 1.5 million black African immigrants in Libya.

The natives of Libya have not, on the whole been happy about the influx. Margaret Bald observed in 2000 after urban clashes between Libyan natives and West Africans:

“’Libyans resent the money the immigrants make…and perceive these outsiders as beneficiaries of Gaddafi’s support for African union,’ wrote Cameron Duodu for London’s Gemini News Service (Oct. 6). Gaddafi has been touring the continent to promote the formation of a United States of Africa.”

Still, why would African immigrants want to stay permanently in horrible Libya, when lovely Europe is just a Mediterranean boat ride away?

And this provided Kaddafi with yet another way to benefit from immigration: by blackmailing the Italians into paying him to take back the African illegal immigrants who had set out from his shores. Libya formerly refused to accept them until after each illegal immigrant’s lengthy European Union refugee status hearings had been exhausted—during which, of course, many aliens simply vanished.

I have long held that, if current trends remain unchanged, the entire world will eventually be black.  The reason is that blacks tend to form the most dysfunctional societies and to have the most babies.  Those excess  babies (a heartless term, I know) grow up and move to more desirable parts of the world if they can.  This is nature taking its course when local populations let down their guard.

But Libya is an example of another dynamic: rulers actively importing large numbers of blacks to dissolve the national identity of their own people – thus allowing said rulers to seize even more power due to more racial conflict on the street.  Why do politicians like blacks?  Their lower average I.Q. makes them more easily manipulated.  Their higher crime, disease and social pathology rates give those in power more excuses to expand government in law enforcement and social programs.  They serve to balkanize society, thus creating a greater need for government moderators to tame the resultant rivalries.  Qadhafi likes them because they (the mercenaries, that is) have few qualms about shooting innocent women and children.

Many pro-white activists care nothing about Libya.  It doesn’t bother them that a formerly Caucasian nation is now almost a quarter black.  It should bother them; as Sailor has pointed out, the tide will not magically stop at the borders of Africa.  Furthermore, Libya was an ancient home of whites.  There are still remnants of this white population among them.  As for me, my own personal opinion is that what Qadhafi has done is an inexcusable crime.  It is genocide against his own people and I hope, when he is toppled, that Libyans expel every one of those Africans back to the South.  As a person of mixed Middle-Eastern ancestry myself (being Jewish and all), I see ethnic Libyans as distant cousins and this attack on their national integrity bothers me immensely.  Thanks to Qadhafi, we can no longer claim that diversity is imposed exclusively upon white nations.  On the bright side, we may some day count Algerians among promoters of HBD.
