Citing Racial Inequities, Boston Public Schools Suspend New Advanced Learning Classes
A selective program for high-performing fourth, fifth and sixth graders in Boston has suspended enrollment due to the pandemic and concerns about equity in the program, GBH News has learned.
Superintendent Brenda Cassellius recommended the one-year hiatus for the program, known as Advanced Work Classes, saying the district would not proceed with the program for new students next year.
“There’s been a lot of inequities that have been brought to the light in the pandemic that we have to address,” Cassellius told GBH News. “There’s a lot of work we have to do in the district to be antiracist and have policies where all of our students have a fair shot at an equitable and excellent education.”
A district analysis of the program found that more than 70 percent of students enrolled in the program were white and Asian, even though nearly 80 percent of all Boston public school students are Hispanic and Black.
School Committee member Lorna Rivera said at a January meeting that she was disturbed by the findings, noting that nearly 60 percent of fourth graders in the program at the Ohrenberger school in West Roxbury are white even though most third graders enrolled at the school are Black and Hispanic.
“This is just not acceptable,” Rivera said at a recent school committee meeting. “I’ve never heard these statistics before, and I’m very very disturbed by them.”
The program was open to all students in the Boston Public Schools who took a test known as Terra Nova in the third grade and received a high score. Those students were placed in a lottery conducted by the central administration office, and lottery winners received letters inviting them to apply to the program. Last fall, 453 students received invitations, 143 students applied and 116 enrolled this year, officials said.
These are our future doctors, lawyers and scientists. Thanks to race-denialism, these professionals will be a notch or two lower in quality than they otherwise would have been. The result is inevitable: Our health, justice system and science will be stunted.
Unfortunately, nobody will be able to quantify this effect, and anybody attempting to do so will be stigmatized. Are there any studies on increased morbidity due to Affirmative Action doctors? Of course not; those lives don’t matter.

The United Arab Emirates has sent a probe to Mars. This is the first time any Arab country has sent a spacecraft to another planet. The probe is named The Hope (الأمل), and I think the name is appropriate. After all, their first attempt at reaching Mars was not successful; Burj Khalifa turned out to be not tall enough to reach the Red Planet. I’m told it’s still worth visiting for the nice view.
This is a huge prestige boost for the coalition of kingdoms, but more importantly, will the probe find oil on Mars?
On a more serious note, within living memory, UAE was little more than a collection of fishing villages. According to The Gazelle:
Before the discovery of oil, Emiratis had to rely upon trade to sustain themselves. Hence, while the UAE today may seem radically different from its past, many aspects have remained the same.
For much of the UAE’s pre-oil history, the environment was the most important factor. The harshness of the desert, which covers 80 percent of the country, dictated traditional lifestyles. One response was living a nomadic lifestyle, and was carried out by those living in the interior of the country. Despite this, oases allowed for some settled agriculture such as in Liwa. The more mountainous northern Emirates encouraged somewhat different ways of surviving as occasional rain flooded wadis and groundwater was more accessible. The mountains also had a strategic aspect as their rugged nature protected their inhabitants from invasion.
The third major environmental area was the coast. Although the desert extends all the way to the waters of the Arabian Gulf, the coast was important as it allowed the UAE to trade and connect with other nations in the region. Water was still a priority and so sources were closely guarded. Qasr al Hosn, the fort in Abu Dhabi, was built around the only freshwater source in Abu Dhabi and was designed to control access to this source. Further north, water was found due to runoff from the Al Hajar mountain range, which caused the underlying water table to be closer to the surface, making wells possible. Thus, the cities that we know now began to be built along the Arabian Gulf.
It appears that life in the Emirates was essentially unchanged from ancient times until the 1950s, when oil was discovered. Then, all of a sudden, the ruling class and elites became exceedingly wealthy. Luckily for them, this wealth wasn’t as ephemeral as in other, less fortunate, countries.
How do traditional tribes react when riches are suddenly thrust into their laps? In some cases, it’s not much different from how individuals react when they suddenly win the jackpot; the wealth is squandered, and the poor soul ends up worse than he was before.
There can be little doubt that the Emiratis did squander much of their wealth, and that there has been corruption. It wasn’t until the 1960s and 1970s that slavery was abolished in the UAE – so it should be no surprise that this mentality lives on. Much has been written about the poor conditions migrant workers face in the UAE, but it seems to me that if it were as horrific as portrayed, then the migrants would cease coming. I don’t know; perhaps when I visit, I’ll gain more insights.
The treatment of women is another sore point. A missing princess has made headlines, and wife beating is a gray area in UAE law.
I don’t think we should expect the UAE to have the same human rights standards as Western countries, nor do I think this is desirable. Everything is a continuum, and anything can become a slippery slope. I don’t think there can be a situation where everybody has equal rights and privileges, and if we must choose between a state run by women, or a state run by men, I’d choose the latter.
The Emiratis have made huge strides in the right direction. They now have peace with Israel, they’ve been diversifying their economy, and they’ve transformed a collection of sleepy fishing villages into a major international business hub.

NEW YORK (Reuters Breakingviews) – American company men may find a savior in China Inc. As corporations try to make their ranks more ethnically representative, many experienced – if white and older – males will find themselves without a job. Chinese companies, deterred from acquiring U.S. firms with valuable intellectual property, can recruit their discarded human capital instead.
Some of the largest U.S. companies are moving quickly to rebalance their headcount. At Apple, for example, women made up 38% of workers under 30 in 2018 versus just 31% four years earlier. The share of under-represented minorities in that group rose 10 percentage points to 35%. Meantime the employment-to-population ratio of white men fell from 76% in 1972 to 67% in 2018.
The coming year should be a banner one for diversity. California has rolled out quotas for boards; Nasdaq is considering requirements for listings. Companies from Wells Fargo to Google to Delta Air Lines have diversity hiring goals in place.
The goal is to reach new customers and positively transform corporate cultures. In the immediate term that may translate into net layoffs of older, more expensive, Caucasian men.
Some of those hitting the streets, resumé in hand, will have value for the right employer. Economic research firm Sonecon put the price of intellectual capital of U.S. companies at $9.2 trillion in 2011. Acquiring that by buying companies will be difficult under President-elect Joe Biden, who is expected to continue the crackdown on Chinese acquisitions. Poaching talent is easier and, in some cases, may be more efficient.
Should white men, who have been betrayed by their own countries, seek their fortunes elsewhere? I think they should at least consider it. What do you think?
To be honest, I don’t think that giving Africa another 200 years will change anything, it has been 600 years since European colonialists ruled Africa…
But when we criticise Africa, when we point out the problems in Africa, we are immediately called racist by Africans, and the most extreme racists at that.

Including the 10 million people who died in shipping, the figure for Africa’s population loss could be as high as 30 million.
And how many Africans have been killed by China?
I started travelling and trading in Africa more than ten years ago. My feeling is this.
Africans are very, very, very sensitive and you can’t say they’re bad, even if that’s the truth. If you say that, you are a racist in every sense of the word, and you don’t deserve the friendship of Africans.
Especially when many highly educated Africans are of the same mindset.
For them, giving them aid, giving them money is the best thing to do.
If you open factories and employ workers there, then it’s exploitation, it’s an infringement of African interests.
If you say something like African workers are not motivated to work, then you are being racist, an unmitigated racist.

The constant flow of international aid to Africa every year has somehow made them think that they can survive on relief, so why should they work?
In the eyes of many Africans, they feel that they are poor because the international community is giving them too little. Therefore, many African countries justify asking the international community for financial support, taking it for granted. The international community has been exporting aid to African countries over the years, but the truth is that they are poorer than they were twenty years ago. Because there is a huge waste of land in Africa, a lot of land is just sitting there uncultivated.

There is a perception that Africa is so hot and the land is so arid that no crops grow, so people starve to death?
This is what most people believe, but they make the grave mistake of not having seen a world map and not understanding world geography. The equator and the Tropic of Cancer both run through Africa, the largest continent in the world in terms of trans-tropical area. The region’s climate distribution is characterised by a tropical rainforest climate, with a north-south savannah distribution and the most widely distributed savannah climate. The tropical rainforest climate is characterised by high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year; the savannah climate is characterised by high temperatures throughout the year and is clearly divided into wet and dry seasons. Although 1/3 of Africa is covered by desert, it has 60% of the world’s arable land area. The area south of the Sahara Desert is the region with the largest number of black Africans and is in a savannah, tropical rainforest climate. There is generally a dry season and a rainy season.
There are 31 African countries south of the Sahara Desert, classified by the United Nations as the least developed countries in the world. It is a place where poverty, disease, hunger and war are common. But poverty and famine are not the result of a geographical location or climate that is unsuitable for farming, but rather an evil result of being more suitable for farming. Take Cameroon on the west coast of Africa, for example, where the farming conditions are unbelievably good! Most crops can be grown once and benefit for life. For example, many bush plants and crops can only be grown once a year in eastern China. But in Cameroon they can be planted once and benefit forever. This is because here the temperatures are good all year round, the rainfall is very abundant and the plants will grow endlessly. The Chinese people who went over there to build a bridge and a road brought some cucumber seeds over …… to plant in the yard next to the base. Magic happened! Planted once and harvested for years, endless cucumbers all year round!
And the soil in Africa is definitely better than our land in China. What’s more, their land is purely organic with no pesticides and no chemical fertilisers! The reason is simple: the climate is unbelievably good, with abundant water and a warm, humid climate, a lot of organic matter is multiplying in the soil. Of course, Africa has a rainy season and a dry season, and the land you see on TV, where children can fall through the cracks, is the dry season! The land of the continent is so easy to harvest food, fruit and vegetables. How easy is it? In Africa, it’s usually women who grow, like black women, who sleep until the sun goes down, wake up to the sound of birdsong, then take the seeds, take a sharp-beaked hoe, dig a hole, throw the seeds in and plant. Large machines to turn the ground are not needed in Africa. The soil in Africa is so soft because of the high organic content that it doesn’t need to be turned at all. The black women drop the seeds in the ground and go home to nurse their black babies until it is time to go back to the field at harvest time. You only have to work seven days a year, no weeding, pesticides, fertiliser or irrigation.
You can’t imagine that many Africans are not in the habit of storing food, and so come the dry season, they are left to starve. Black Africans can’t understand that Europeans and Asians like to pile up food all the time? Isn’t there food everywhere in the woods? Why eat something that is not fresh? Obviously, Africans have never experienced winter and do not know how to store food for the winter, whereas the ancestors of Asians and Europeans have been hoarding food to fight against the harsh winters.
Without the knowledge of storing food and without modern agriculture, hunger was a common occurrence. It was once written that in sub-Saharan Africa, a month’s delay in the rainy season would start a famine in Africa.

So, what is the state of agriculture in Africa?
While in Europe and China agriculture has long been modernised, with machines sowing, fertilising and harvesting almost everything, in Africa there is hardly any agricultural civilisation, let alone any modernisation of agriculture.
At present, most of Africa is still very primitive in terms of farming. Africans have no desire to cultivate, no affection for the land and waste fertile land resources for nothing. Most people in Africa, will grow a small plot of land, in a very wild African style of farming. It is the aforementioned, take a stick and poke a hole in the ground, throw seeds and then gather all kinds of edible things in the woods and countryside mainly.
Africans are very keen to grow some highly productive plants such as cassava and potatoes. Plant a few a few years ago and in a few years it will be a huge cassava and potato …… that you don’t even have to transplant or manage. In African countries such as the Congo, if you see overgrown potato gardens on all sides of the road, with pheasants flying around in them, and you think they are deserted, they are probably food plots that people depend on for their livelihoods.
Rough farming methods, combined with a lack of knowledge of irrigation and drainage and no ditches at all, lead to heavy waterlogging during the rainy season, and fertile land is just soaked. As no pesticides are used, it is not uncommon for crops to be eaten up by pests. The tropical climate of Africa is not only suitable for plant growth, but also for pests. It is said that a large aspen bug, the size of a palm, such a pest can eat the trunk of a papaya tree empty in a day. When the plants they grow die on a large scale, the old black man will not grieve, nor will he take videos and post them to his friends for state subsidies, like Chinese farmers who suffer from floods, droughts and hailstorms. Africans will think they have suffered a curse from the gods, get down on their knees and kowtow, then change their land and continue to grow papaya.
If you don’t want to farm, how about work? You can’t even do labour! African workers are paid a daily wage, they work one day, they play one day, they get paid to pick up black girls, they drink, they gamble, they work six days a week? There’s no one to play with, you dare to pay once a month, that’s not possible either

I even think the western media is deliberately baiting Africans instead of encouraging Africans to work hard to start their own businesses. Because that’s how they can better control Africa.
I tried to set up a coalition to help Africans about ten years ago by mailing seeds of crops like sweet potatoes and maize from China, and agricultural tools to people in Africa, and it lasted for over a year to find that all the agricultural tools sent there were thrown away, and the seeds went nowhere.
There were even model plots of land set up over there, with the Chinese demonstrating to them how to plough, how to water, how to de-weed and how to handle farmyard manure.
It turned out that a bunch of Africans were just watching the fun or came straight over to ask for money and nothing more.
I tried very hard and very seriously to help Africa, with limited ability, but I wanted to do my bit, and in the end I found it useless and had to give up.

Cornell University is very woke. They’re so woke that they offered a rock climbing course for BIPOC students only. BIPOC, for those of you unwoke, stands for black, Indigenous, and people of color — a catchall for everyone oppressed by white people.
The course ain’t cheap. Campus Reform reports that the school charges “$1,890—including the standard cost of a one-credit course, $1,575, and an additional mandatory ‘course fee’ of $315.” It’s expensive to get woke at Cornell.
Campus Reform confronted school authorities about the blatantly racist course description, which led to the school scrubbing its website to change the course requirements.
If you’re going to be a racist, you should own it.
According to the new description, posted on Cornell’s website, the class will provide a “high degree of individual attention” and a “supportive space” where students will discuss “BIPOC individuals and groups in rock climbing.” The new description states that the class is now “open to all” students who are “interested in learning rock climbing with this special focus.“
Swalwell Pushes for ‘White Nationalism Task Force’

I distinctly remember that it didn’t take long for Mediagov to appease Muslims after 9/11. There were a few misguided attacks on perceived Muslims following the attacks, and the media has been working diligently ever since on polishing the image of Islam in the West. A clear distinction was made between Islamic Extremism (“Islamism”) and moderate Islam. No such distinction will be made between moderate white-nationalists and right-wing extremists.

Smith College Staffer Quits Over Anti-White Racism
A staffer at Smith College has resigned, publishing a letter accusing the elite women’s university of creating a “racially hostile environment” against white people…
An alumna of the private liberal arts institution, Shaw said the culture had changed forcefully after a 2018 incident when a black student accused a white staffer of racism for calling campus security on her. An investigation showed no evidence of racial bias, but the college put in place a list of initiatives aimed at fighting “systemic racism” on campus.
Yet the ideology driving the efforts seemed more concerned with inflaming anti-white sentiment rather than mitigating any form of racism, based on Shaw’s account.
“I endured racially hostile comments, and was expected to participate in racially prejudicial behavior as a continued condition of my employment. I endured meetings in which another staff member violently banged his fist on the table, chanting ‘Rich, white women! Rich, white women!’ in reference to Smith alumnae. I listened to my supervisor openly name preferred racial quotas for job openings in our department. I was given supplemental literature in which the world’s population was reduced to two categories—‘dominant group members’ and ‘subordinated group members’—based solely on characteristics like race,” Shaw’s letter says…
In January 2020, Shaw said, she attended a mandatory staff retreat “focused on racial issues.”
She said she wasn’t comfortable answering personal questions from the hired facilitator about race and “racial identity.”
“Later, the facilitators told everyone present that a white person’s discomfort at discussing their race is a symptom of ‘white fragility.’ They said that the white person may seem like they are in distress but that it is actually a ‘power play,’” she wrote.
“In other words, because I am white, my genuine discomfort was framed as an act of aggression. I was shamed and humiliated in front of all of my colleagues.”
My friend Diversity Chronicle has been nudging me to condemn homosexuality for years. My response has been measured. Having suffered from homosexual aggression in the past, I’m not a natural ally to homosexuals; I don’t have warm and fuzzy feelings toward them or their lifestyle. On the other hand, it’s difficult for me to imagine homosexuality as a choice. My gut feeling is that either it’s genetic, congenital or a result of some sort of early childhood experience. Therefore, I refuse to place homosexuals in my “hate zone.” I’m not going to attack people for their personal activities, and I certainly will not advocate for their execution.
Neither of us is Christian, or religious in any meaningful way, but we do agree that the pastor makes some valid points – points that have been vindicated by what I have personally seen. For my own convenience, I’ll simply paste my correspondence with Diversity Chronicle:
I admire that man for his conviction and courage – and he makes excellent points. It’s not a lifestyle to be encouraged. There are a few flaws in his sermon:
1) He assumes that God’s punishments should be administered by our own secular government today. Maybe, maybe not. It’s not to be taken for granted.
If we assume the bible is the word of God, obviously it’s laws should supersede secular laws, and its laws should be the basis for all civil law, logically, if it is a divine revelation? Most Christians/Jews do not believe this, which makes me think they don’t really believe it is divine revelation in fact. I realize this is a huge assumption in the first place, but I think it does follow logically from that belief. It is not my purpose to argue for or against that position here. My point in recommending the documentary is that, regardless of one’s religious views, there are many important suppressed facts about the harmful nature of homosexuality which I would like to see more widely known. I would recommend the documentary to anyone, for that reason.
2) He assumes that being homosexual is a choice, but I don’t believe that. I’ll admit that it’s a flaw, and a mental disease, but not that it’s a choice.
Choosing to engage in sodomy, or the celibate lifestyle is a choice. A heterosexual can choose to have sex or not have sex. He or she can choose to have parades or not have parades. Also, it is a choice for many lesbians as they themselves admit. Additionally, given that some homosexuals claim they were cured of it, not getting help or trying to change I believe incurs moral guilt. If you can change possibly, and choose not to try, that is also a choice, choosing not to get help, or to try to self reform. We know about half of homosexual males admit to being molested as a child or teen by an adult man. So, before that most of them were not homosexual? They should be encouraged not to let that past abuse ruin or define the rest of their lives. It isn’t something to celebrate, or tolerate in my view. Homosexuals threaten non-homosexuals since they can now donate blood, and it is not rejected by blood banks, despite their much higher STD rate. They also threaten innocent children given the close relationship between homosexuality and pedophilia, which has been proven and documented. Almost half of adult male homosexuals admit to being sexually molested as children or teenagers by an adult male. I would advocate a zero tolerance policy on homosexuality.
3) He implies that every homosexual man is also attracted to women – based on the Bible. I’m pretty certain this is not so.
I actually think this at least has a lot of truth to it. I saw a homosexual admit once on tv in the 90s he was attracted to some women, he just said it was very rare. He also claimed others had varying degrees of attraction to women. He specifically said he was homosexual, he said nothing about bisexuals. Now this is no longer talked about, but some homosexuals who identify as homosexual did/do admit this. I can’t prove they all have this, but some clearly do. Typically people get angry if this is even pointed out, why so? If they are attracted to women a little bit, it seems to me that may be something that can increase with effort. Because libtardism celebrates the perverse and the defective, they oppose any effort to cure homosexuals or encourage them to be celibate even. Even though their lifestyle is deadly.
I do agree with the pastor that homosexuals tend to be far more promiscuous than others; my own observations of male homosexuals have confirmed this. Men are easy, and the homosexuals I’ve known seem to live lives of one sexual escapade after another. It should be no mystery that they tend to be vectors for disease.
He is also correct in his observation that the Establishment has bent over backwards, even to the point of renaming a disease, to make the homosexual lifestyle look acceptable.
He’s right that homosexual activists should be condemned for having “pride” in their activities. It’s nothing to be proud of – and it certainly shouldn’t be promoted; to do so to our youth is the ultimate depravity. It’s just one more example of how the Establishment Left views children as pawns for their own sick agenda.
He makes a good point that the homosexual lifestyle, coupled with their political agenda, presents dangers to the rest of us. It would be interesting to know how many people have contracted AIDS, or other STIs, due to contaminated blood taken from homosexuals. Both the Red Cross and other organizations have restrictions on donating blood if the donor has had sex with another man – but the fact remains that it’s an honor system. Also, testing is not perfect and the risk, however small, remains.
The fact remains that many worthy individuals have been homosexual. Some prominent white-advocates are homosexual. As stated, I don’t believe they had a choice in the matter, and they (like most of us) keep their sexuality to themselves. We should respect them as human beings, and focus on their positive achievements. Let’s leave the witch hunts for the leftists, and let’s leave divine punishment for God. I’d put them in a similar (and less dangerous) category as pedophiles: Be wary of them, and be especially careful with your children – but don’t persecute them for something they have no control over, even if it appears that some of them do have some control over it.
If homosexuality is a sin, then let he who is sinless cast the first stone.

Replacing “African American” with “white” or “Mexican” doesn’t produce similar results. Like other stereotypes, this one is probably based on reality; people didn’t manufacture it out of thin air.
A lesbian couple in Atlanta discovered this the hard way. From Deadline:
Police have arrested two people who had been wanted for shooting a fellow moviegoer who had shushed them in an Atlanta theater last month.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Camryn King, 20, and Yvonne Crawford, 22, were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Indiana and have been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Atlanta police said King and Crawford will be extradited from Indiana to face charges in the Georgia capital.
The alleged incident took place January 9 inside a theater at the AMC Camp Creek 14 in Atlanta. The victim told police she and her wife were watching a movie and said the group behind them was being too loud. She got into a brief argument with them, and a man pulled a handgun from his companion’s purse and fired.

We don’t know the victim’s race, but if she’s white, then she might have to pay reparations to the black shooter; after all, she PROVOKED him, and then took his lead without compensation!
